To whom it may concern, Here is the response from [redacted], Cars 4 Cash Salesman in regards to the customer complaint. "On Thursday, February 12, 2015, [redacted] called Cars 4 Cash close to closing time and said he was in need of a car for $1,000 down. I, [redacted] said...
I could help him. I showed him a 2000 Toyota Avalon, we both drove it and he said he loved it and was happy. He also said that every other Car Dealership was giving him the run around and that he just needed something ASAP. I told him it could be a good starter car and that we needed to get a state inspection the next morning since it was so late at night we were not able to get it inspected because everywhere was closed. He did not show up the next two business days. I tried day after day to get a hold of him in order to get his car inspected. He called and then came by the following Monday and said that his car was acting up and that it would not start nor go over 40 mph and that was the reason he couldn’t make it to get his car inspected. I told him that I happened to see him the next day driving on the freeway going about 60 mph as I passed him. He had nothing to say. I even offered him half of his money back, if he didn’t want the car, and he said he wanted to keep the car." As with all our customers it is explained in writing that all sales are final and all vehicle are used and are sold As Is and that it is the customers responsibility for repairs. We are currently still waiting for the customer to provide proof of insurance, which he does not have and for him to bring the vehicle in for the inspection. At this time we are working with the customer to help resolve this matter. Thank you,
