My car was repossessed in error 1/23/2020. I asked the repo men that drive up in an SUV with the business name located on the front of the car to contact the manager because I was not delinquent. They refused. Once these men took my car, they did contact the manager who called me explained it never should have taken place and it was a huge mistake. I was stranded 10 hours at my home until my car was finally towed back to me that night. The manager $20 in my glove box for gas but wouldn't bring my car straight back to me. Instead, I had to sit and wait for a tow company to bring back my wrongfully repossessed vehicle due to the negligence of this company.

Desired Settlement: Other (requires explanation) Responsibility for their actions. Had I needed to be at work, had an emergency, I couldn't have gone anywhere. How do I know it will not happen to others? Negligence.
Ms. , this matter was resolved the best as possible. I worked a quickly as I could and I gave you the gas money that was promised per our conversation and returned your vehicle back to you that same Sunday 2/23/2020. I understand your frustration this is not something we do and this is why I worked the best and quickly I could in this situation being on a Sunday and not during normal business hours. Since you were a previous customer, we have made a lot of exceptions regarding your account since initiating this vehicle loan, including working with you on your down payment and now THIS deferred down payment. Again we apologize for this inconvenience and we appreciate your business. We at Cars and Credit strive on customer service and to conduct business as honest and transparent as possible. We can assure you this mistake and misunderstanding will not happen again.

There was no gas money located in the car.
Inconvenience? There was no late payment on my account. Do not act like there was a favor accomplished in return which made it okay to repo a car by mistake and there was no gas money which doesn't even make that better. You will not pretend to make it look better when NOTHING was done. Your repo driver must have stolen your $20. I believe the mileage, another individual driving the car that I do not know and use of the car which may have created damages as the CV joint had to be replaced shortly after. How has this resolved?
Unfortunately there was a late payment on your account the day it was repossessed. And again I am sorry the inconvenience this caused you that Sunday being with out your car. I personally left the $20 dollars in the top glove compartment of your vehicle like we discussed. Regarding the CV joint please come by our office or give us a call to discuss this further.

I work and do not have time to drive over an hour to Cleveland and spend more money for gas and time. You can discuss this by letter or document here. The third day I had the car it started overheating and had to be returned for repair. When I did get the car back the mechanic didn't even put the screws in the new coolant reservoir, coolant was leaking everywhere, which I had to fix. It has been a horrible experience from that point forward. The wrong file was given to the repo men, the manager told me this on the phone. I also know the manager begged the tow company to bring the car all the way to *** because she didn't want to make the drive. That's why I had to wait 10 hours stranded at my home. You can discuss with the owner how this can be resolved. Thank you.
