Business claims that repair was done properly, and consumer refused to pay for 2nd repairThere will be no refund

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Please review the letter I sent to the owner of Accurate Spa and Pool As you see in the end of the letter I did pay for the second repair and when I reviewed the work there was a leak that ASAP refused to correct This is was repaired by a different companyI am looking for resolution on the repair work done by the second company, because ASAP would not stand behind their work Dear [redacted] : You are in receipt of this letter to let you know of my dissatisfaction of the service I received at the [redacted] **Property your company performed on January 12th At the start of the year the residents of the property notified me that the spa was not heating to proper temperature I then placed a call to your company looking for advice on how to fix the temperature issue on the spa I called your company because in May of your company replaced a heating element and a pump that went bad I also replaced the breaker on the electric service for the spa at that time The advice your company gave was to pull the filter and turn the breaker off for seconds, thinking there may be a flow restriction from a clogged filter, prior to sending out one of your technicians to troubleshoot Another failure mode your company mentioned was poor chemistry in the spa Your company mentioned the technician would be able to check the chemistry during the service call On the date of the service call I had two missed calls from an unknown number on my call log I am assuming this was the service technician calling from the property I am assuming as there was no message from the unknown number I fact I called your office the next day to find out what was wrong with the spa Only at this time was I informed that the heating element was bad need to be replaced Now without authorization your company replaced the element and I would be receiving an invoice for around $ I then asked if your technician had the results of the chemistry test he performed, and was told your technicians do not perform those kinds of tests I then took a water sample to Allied pools, based on your company’s recommendation, to have a water sample tested The clerk at Allied pools notified me that all the tests were within the recommended ranges On January 14th I then spoke with your company about any possibilities of a warranty either with the manufacture of the heating element or with your company’s work As your web-site claims that all of ASAP’s work comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee I asked if I could have the defective heating element and was told that the element was removed from the property and was thrown awayI was told there are no warranties for heating elements and that I should just pay the invoice when I receive it in the mail After receiving the invoice for the service on January 12th I noticed there is no part number listed I then called your company to find the manufacture, part number or possible the wholesale vender you purchase the heating element from and was told this is none of my business, and I need to pay the invoiceI should not continue to peruse any warranty as there is not one available, and that you had authorized the field technician to go ahead with installing the new element because a second trip to the property would cost me even more I asked you why you assumed I was going to use your company for the repair You told me this was a good invoice and I need to pay it or you will be contacting your lawyerThe reason I asked for warranty information is some wholesalers do in offer a warranty for heating elements During this follow up conversation I was sworn at, and hung up on On February 7th I received a letter in the mail stating this was not a warranty situation, as there were marks on the element that represent a dry fire(heater running without water in it or an air pocket.) As you are aware you stated earlier the heating element was not saved and we would have no recourse for a warranty as there are none available for heating elements on hot tubs I followed up this letter with a phone call to ask for a lean waiver and was told Office Depot did not have any I asked if there was something you could type up and send to me and you said you would I then paid the balance in full Now looking back I did not go over and inspect the property after the work was completeThis was my mistake and I understand that I should have inspected your work prior to paying the bill Once feedback was received on the work you completed from the current residents we did see there was a leak on one of the fittings you worked on Please see the attached picture I then called you on May 4th to see if you would stand behind your work At this time you told me how you did not like haw the last transaction went and you would not be helpful in resolving the problem your company may have caused As it stands now I am not 100% satisfied with ASAP’s work and would like to know how you are going to resolve this, as your website claims 100% satisfaction guaranteed Right now I am left with feeling I was ripped off and lied to I have attached the invoice from another company that did fix your less than satisfying work I am hopping you will do the right thing I expect to hear back from you in a week Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The reason I did not see the leak immediately after the repair is I do not live at the property I trusted ASAP was doing quality work I understand this is my fault for thinking that ASAP was a professional company and their work did not need to be reviewed for major leaks I was hopping ASAP would stand behind their work As you can see form the correspondence between ASAP and myself he has lied and does not support the guarantee advertised on his website Regards, [redacted]
