Our company has never been notified about any rush rates by broker. in our understanding and comparing all prices we getting  cars for everyday, that price not even close to "rush rate". As a owner of a company I am ready to pay $100 to customer to solve that issue. But this is all I can do.

I am rejecting this response because:I was told that there were mechanical issues with the truck. But after a few days delay, I was told that the truck was in the New England area picking up other cars. And since I'm guessing not all seven cars could be picked up on the same day, a schedule should have been available by then. The problem is there was a delay every step of the way. Even the day when the car was picked up, it went from an original estimate of 11:00-12:00 in the morning to not getting picked up until 2:00pm. And the day of drop off in Colorado, the time estimate went from late morning to actually being dropped off late afternoon. And I WAS NOT being updated of the situation. Unless I called to get a status update, no information was forthcoming.When I placed the order with Direct Express Auto Transport, who assigned me to Cars Inc., I had three options: Standard Price - $870 ($195 to Direct Express Auto Transport and $675 to Cars Inc.)Expedited Price - $945 ($195 to Direct Express Auto Transport and $750 to Cars Inc.)Rush Price - $1020 ($195 to Direct Express Auto Transport and $825 to Cars Inc.)Since I was under a tight time constraint, I chose to pay the extra $150 for the rush rate. There was also an option to include additional monies, which the Direct Auto Express Auto Transport website said may help. I included an extra $25. I therefore paid an extra $175 over the Standard Price. My total price for the transport for a Rush Rate plus the extra was $1045 ($195 to Direct Express Auto Transport and $850 to Cars, Inc. upon delivery).If I had not requested the Rush Price and had I not included the extra $25, only $675 would have been due at delivery to Cars Inc. ($870 total price - $195 deposit).I’m not asking for a discount, I’m only asking to pay the price for the service I received, which was not anywhere near Rush or Expedited. What I received was Standard Service, which would only have required that $675 be due at delivery to Cars Inc., for a total transport price of $870. The difference between $850 (what I paid) and $675 is $175, which is the amount I am requesting be refunded.

We were late for pick up a car cause our truck has a huge mechanical issue in New Jersey and we have all the receipts showing we were fixing it. Every day workers from a shop kept telling us our truck will be ready "tomorrow" and we were telling same to all the customers. Everyone understood our...

situation but one customer. I totally understand his frustration but that was something we couldn't change. And since car was picked up 5 days later it is obvious it was delivered 5 days later. Even same truck had issue with his engine on the road back to delivery and spent one more day in Illinois in another shop. We had 6 more cars on the same trailer, we were updating everyone saying car will be picked up "next day" for 4-5 days.Regarding price, if you will check car transporting market you can realize that even $850 is not a high price, sedans cost $800-$1000 from North East area to Colorado and I see no reason why customer thinks he overpaid. For a price of $675 he could have move his car to Illinois, Iowa, may be Nebraska in best scenario, but not to Colorado. Call us with any questions on [redacted], ask [redacted]. Thanks.
