Carson Urologists

My husband was dropped as a patient due to an argument between myself and the receptionist in the office. I contacted another Urologist to make an appt. They asked me to request my records to be sent to them. After two weeks I called the new Dr. and they said they couldn't help me and to get a Urologist in Reno. My assumption is that they rec'd negative information from Carson City Urologists and decided not to take my husband as a patient. I am 75 yrs. old, my husband has Altzheimer's and having to drive to Reno is pretty much impossible for us. We live in Asst'd Living at [redacted] (formerly [redacted])and both are physically impaired so driving to Reno is not convenient. I feel as though this is blackballing us and very unfair. Our relationship with this Dr. was perfect until this day in question. The old Dr's office should have forwarded my husbands records ONLY and not have discussed what transpired between the receptionist and myself. It was nothing more than a verbal confrontation.Desired SettlementI feel as though Carson City Urologists should take my husband back as a patient and I will have someone else deliver him to their office. We have transportation available to us to get him there. They should not have discussed non health issues with the new Dr's ofc whatsoever..... [redacted]Business Response This is in response to case # [redacted]. While on the phone with [redacted] letting her know that I have found a new Urologist for her husband my mail was being put on my desk. I continued to talk to her as I opened my mail. Much to my surprise was letter from the Revdex.com with a complaint from [redacted]. I told her that I had just received this letter and I didn't understand as I have been doing everything I could to help her. I read the note that the Revdex.com sent me, part of it said that she assumed that we had given negative information to the other urology office and that's why they wouldn't make an appointment for her husband. I told her no, that he thought we were requesting a second opinion and since he concurred with our diagnosis and treatment he saw no reason to see her husband and waste the patient's time. After I had explained to the other office that it was not a second opinion and that the patient was looking for a new doctor they agreed to see him and said they would call [redacted] to schedule the appointment. After explaining all of this to her she apologized and said she call the Revdex.com right away and ask them to do a retraction. In my opinion this matter has been resolved.
