Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The company forced me to sign that repairs were complete before they even received the bugshield I had to return after the date they forced me to lie and sign that the repairs were completed The completion is not done to my satisfaction The grille cowl that they claim they repaired and replaced is still not attached fully The company has not even gone as far as to offer an apology for my disappointment in them, which is ridiculous I am very dissatisfied and will never do business with or recommend this company to anyone again I would like a refund of $1,000, that I was forced to pay before the job was in fact complete There is no excuse for it taking weeks and having to return to put on a bug shield When I had that put on initially, it only took me days from the day I ordered it, to the time it was delivered, to the time I put it on The amount of time it took is HIGHLY ridiculousI guess it is legal for a business to falsify business records and claim their work is complete when it really isn't, is it? Check the dates and cameras carefully Regards, [redacted]

Please be advised that we are in receipt of your letter dated August 24, regarding the abovementioned customer and their complaintHere at Hillcrest Collision CARSTAR we take customersatisfaction and quality of repairs very seriousIn that light we have reviewed our records on thiscustomer's
job and believe that the customer's complaint that the job was not complete is inaccurate. This job was performed to completion and met the standards of the insurance company thatrepresented the customerThe insurance company has paid us for their share of the repairs on this joband the $that the customer requested a refund for in your letter represents his deductible on therepair of his vehicleSince the job was complete and no evidence exists to the contrary we feel thatthere is no justification for refunding the customer's deductible and that this matter should beconsidered closed.Sincerely,Scott ** ***, CPA, CFO, VP, TreasurerSTCSTAR, IncD/B/A Hillcrest Collision CARSTAR

I did contact the insurance company who informed me they paid for the repair to be made if the repair was not made to my satisfaction to take it up with the repair company. The repair company did not  repair my car to my satisfaction.  Car star also told me to go argue with the company that they subcontracted to  do the work for them. My insurance company paid for a job to be done correctly and that job was not done and it is now a safety issue with my car. After speaking with the  subcontractor company they informed me that it would take $200 to correct the situation however they were not going to fix it for free. They told me to have car star or my insurance company to pay for the window tinting to be done to all of the other windows to match the one window that they redid but no one wants to touch because they're afraid of breaking it further. At this point I want my one window retinted correctly to match my current windows or to have my current windows retinted to match my new window. Either way the cost is about $200. The insurance company claims they have paid for the job whether it was done right or not it is not their responsibility.

The company forced me to sign that repairs were complete before they even received the bugshield.  I had to return after the date they forced me to lie and sign that the repairs were completed.  The completion is not done to my satisfaction.  The grille cowl that they claim they repaired and replaced is still not attached fully.  The company has not even gone as far as to offer an apology for my disappointment in them, which is ridiculous.  I am very dissatisfied and will never do business with or recommend this company to anyone again.  I would like a refund of $1,000, that I was forced to pay before the job was in fact complete.  There is no excuse for it taking 3 weeks and having to return to put on a bug shield.  When I had that put on initially, it only took me 3 days from the day I ordered it, to the time it was delivered, to the time I put it on.  The amount of time it took is HIGHLY ridiculous. I guess it is legal for a business to falsify business records and claim their work is complete when it really isn't, is it? Check the dates and cameras carefully.
