On January 29, 2018, I called Premier Dental to find out if they accept my son's new insuranceOver the phone I gave the receptionist the information and she said yes, we accept that insuranceI made an appointment for February 1, The day of his appointment, I gave the receptionist my son’s new insurance cardThe receptionist told me that the cost to have the top wisdom tooth pulled would be $I said okShe said, we can have it done nowI said, sureThen she handed me an itemized listing of the cost with the insurance cardI went downstairs to get something in my car at the same time I was looking at the bill and I noticed on the itemized bill it had my old insurance information which had expired years agoAs I’m walking back to the office, my phone starts to ringIt’s Premier dentalI told the receptionist before she even said a word, this billing is through my old insurance which is not activeThe receptionist said yes, I made a mistakeI told the receptionist
I scheduled in appointment to get my annual cleaning done for my teethas soon as I walked in the one of the lady's at the front desk stated that my insurance company was cancelled *** they told me to call my job and see what insurance I have nowI did that and gave the information to the manger for her to process and to make sure I was insured/covered as I was waiting to get called the manger gave no indication that I was not insured I went and got my cleaning done as I came out that manger stated that I was out of network and that I needed to pay for higher ratemind you my appointment was at 3: I got there at 3:and the dentist did not see me until 3:if she would have told me to wait until she knew for fact that I was insured or not this could have been avoided even though I have insurance I still have to pay higher rate because the manger unprofessionalism and sneaky business practice to make me pay out of pocket
