I made car rental reservation and I can not cancel it. The Cartrawler site, Instead of cancelling my reservation and refund my credit card, it is forcing me to take voucher for future use. This was not in their policy when I was making reservation through ***. Booking and confirmation Numbers are as follow:

I cancelled my car reservation to Italy because of COVID 19. I went online to cancel, when I clicked cancel, the only option available was to get a voucher valid for 2 years. I did not want a voucher but a refund. There was no phone number or chat feature at this point, to ask how to move forward with a refund. I clicked on the voucher hoping that I would see another screen to get a refund. Instead, the system just gave me a voucher. I was then able to find a chat feature. I asked for a refund and explained the situation with the website and the fact that there was no option for a refund. The contract stipulates that if I cancel I get a refund. The agent was not helpful at all. I do have the transcript and I am happy to send it if needed.

This company stole my money. I booked a rental on the Alaskan Airlines website, and apparently it booked through this company. I had paid most of the price up front. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, I had to cancel my booking. I went on their website over 3 weeks in advance of my reservation to cancel. I clicked where it said to click to cancel my reservation. I was then informed that I would receive only voucher for the refund instead of actually getting my money back (which their policy says if you cancel in advance, you will receive a refund). When I called to talk with them about my refund, they said I would only receive a voucher and they couldn't switch it. They informed me that I should have waited until CLOSER TO MY RESERVATION DATE to cancel online and then I would have had an option to get a real refund. This seems like a horrible business practice to funnel people into receiving a voucher instead of a refund. Now I'm out the $300 because we never book car rentals. I am disappoint and frustrated. Most companies are going above and beyond to help people out during this time, and this company is just exploiting people.
