Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It is unfortunate that the respondent has not taken responsibility for the damage he has done to my printer. He has chosen instead to make up lies to cover his tracks. He stated that my printer was not working when I brought it into his store. This is not true. The printer was working fine, as evidenced by a test page I printed the night before which I brought to the store to show him. My only purpose in visiting the store was to have an ink cartridge refilled, as it was running low on ink. The only reason I brought the whole printer to the store, rather than just the ink cartridge, was to prevent the cartridge from drying up.The respondent has conveniently omitted the issue of his screaming loud enough to wake the dead and acting like a caged animal, brought on by my stating calmly that the printer had been working perfectly before I brought it into the store, and was not working at all after he touched it. This man should not be dealing with customers, as he seems to take some pleasure in treating them not much better than he would a dog in the street. It is clear that this man is not qualified to perform any repair, maintenance, or diagnosis on computer printers, and he should not be touching any customer’s printers. His store is supposed to sell cartridges only, and his his actions should be limited to this.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

Cartridge World Store # [redacted] Response to Complaint: On or about October [redacted] 2015 customer came to my store (Cartridge World) with an HP 6940 Inkjet Printer and stated that he had not used it in a long time. He further stated that when he attempted to print, it didn’t work and wasn’t sure if it...

was broken or just needed ink. I responded by explaining that we would have to ensure that there is ink in the cartridges and they are functioning properly before we could determine if there were any other issues with the Printer. Customer asked if I could check them and I agreed to do so. Both cartridges were removed from the Printer in his presence. His printer was left on the front counter in his presence, while I took the cartridges to my production area where I determined both were dried out but could be cleaned & refilled. Customer was informed of the state of the cartridges, and he asked about the cost to refill them. He then agreed to wait while I refill them. Upon re-installing the refilled cartridges in the Printer it did not work. Customer asked if printer could be repaired. I informed him that troubleshooting/labor, etc would be cost-prohibitive especially given the age & type of his Printer. We then had a brief chat about what kind of printer he might consider when he goes shopping for one. He thanked me & asked what he owed for my s[redacted]. I told him there is no charge. Reason being: He was not leaving the store with a useful Printer, & I also thought that eventually my business would gain a new customer. I assumed he left satisfied until several days later (I’m not certain of the exact date) he returned, again with the Printer. I greeted & asked how I could help him, to which he responded; as I remember; “what the hell did you do to my Printer?”. I was very surprised, but reminded him that I refilled the cartridges only & no work was done on the Printer. When I reminded him of our conversation about what Printers he might consider purchasing & the fact that he wasn’t charged for my s[redacted]s, he became visibly upset. Customer stated that I’m the only person that has ever touched his Printer, therefore I’m responsible for replacing it. I refused, and he left the store after stating that I would be hearing from him. Howard S[redacted] Cartridge World #[redacted]
