Mr. [redacted] states that his complaint involves repair issues we were not hired to repair anything at Mr. [redacted]'s home. On 02/26/2013 We were hired by Mr. [redacted] to pump and clean his septic tank the charge of $170.00 was for labor to locate the septic tank and dig up the lid(s) on the tank for...

access, if the homeowner would have known the location of the system and had the lid(s) exposed, this charge would not have applied, the charge of $425.00 is our flat rate fee for pumping and cleaning the septic tank (it is recommended to pump and clean a septic tank every 3 to 5 years). Again at no time did our company make any repairs to the septic system or to anything else on this property. On 01/26/2013 I received a nasty email form Mr. [redacted] stating that he used our services 2 years ago and currently had a clog and would not use us again that he had the problem fixed, I called Mr. [redacted] and received no answer, he sent another email stating that he had seen that I called and would be contacting the Revdex.com about the issue. On 01/27/2015 at approx. 11:51 a.m. Mr. Cartright went to Mr. [redacted]'s home to see what the problem was and found no one home.We do not fill that this is a valid complaint by Mr. [redacted] due to the fact that he did not give us the opportunity to rectify a problem if in fact there was one. I think we would all agree that we cannot fix a problem without knowing there is a problem, with Mr. [redacted]'s failure to call the office we had no idea he was experiencing a problem. A simple phone call from Mr. [redacted] to our office would have allowed us the opportunity to inspect the system to determine the problem at not charge to Mr. [redacted], we of course cannot control what a homeowner puts down the sewer lines or the amount of water that goes into the septic system. Therefore, we do not fill that a refund is appropriate due to the fact that we did not have the opportunity to validate that the alleged clog was caused by pumping and cleaning the septic tank almost 2 years ago.

Review: Hired the business to locate and clean my septic system. they came and did locate and clean system but two years later I am having to do this again. I dug up system myself and found clogging issue which shouldn't have happened. Makes no sense that a system that functioned properly for 10 plus years from the last service and then needed service now needs service two years after cleaning.Desired Settlement: I don't feel the $595 was a suitable amount considering the lack of service time and inconvenience. Would like $250 back as a show of good faith as I will not use them as a contractor again but will not further my complaints towards them. I consider it a bad choice but not one I should pay nearly six hundred dollars for.
