They charged for screens that haven't been replaced yet, blinds that weren't there when we moved in, and stuff like light bulbs and other things that should be under the wear and tear clause in the leaseOnce *** and I settled on getting back $from unnecessary charges, *** walked in and decided it was all of a sudden up to me to pay $that my roommate owed from rentBasically instead of continuing to go after her for it, I got to be the one to pay it at their convenience since we signed a joint lease
Aside from the security deposit, they were terrible renters throughout the yearWhenever my roommates or I would email them with multiple issues, they frequently ignored the questions they didn't want to answerI asked for the potholes in the driveway to be filled at least times, and it never happenedI asked for a key to the garage door so we could park our cars in it, and they gave me the wrong keyWhen I told them, they said they'd get to it and never didWe didn't get to use the garage at all for our cars the entire yearWe also had to get our toilet fixed multiple times in one week before they finally replaced it
We had an appointment with *** in the evening one day before we even moved in, but after we signed the leaseWe showed up and ***dmitted she was drunk off of wineShe was also very disorganized with our paperwork the entire year
We paid way more than the property was worth, and they definitely overcharged for the end of the year cleaningOverall, I wouldn't recommend renting with Carty RentalsThey're unprofessional, disorganized, rude, and very cheap
