I did called Carver customer service and I did asked them to make a stop payment on the check but the woman that I spoke to choose not to do her job. just like  ID [redacted], the matter has not been resolved, but I don't want to be bothered with them anymore so I closed all my account with them so they will not do the same thing to me again. since I cannot count on them to look after my money. I thank you Revdex.com. for taking the time to listen to my problem with carver, because of that I got all the fees  they took from my account back.  you can now close the case thank you again for your time.

Review: I opened an account with Carver Federal Savings Bank on September [redacted] 2015. Part of my decision choosing Carver to open my account was because of it's history & it was in my neighborhood. After opening my account with the very nice representative "Deseree", I found out a few days later via an advertisement on Carver Federal's Home page that as a customer I had access to 55,000 Allpoint operated ATM's "Surcharge Free". I went bank into the my local branch & spoke with one of the reps & she verified & named a few of the places that had Allpoint ATM's i.e. [redacted]. I was excited another perk to having a Carver Federal Bank account in my neighbor hood with access to 55k ATM's. So it was a shock to me to see on my account summary 4 separate charges @ $2.00 each =$8.00. These charges were incurred after I went to an Allpoint operated ATM located at; [redacted]. I took my issue to my local branch & I spoke with a rep who verified only the 1st one withdrawal is free everything after that I am charged. Although I didn't quite understand it and whether it was an error with the bank or false advertising to get customers to believe they were really surcharge free I knew I needed to close my account. With that said I believe customers need to know Allpoint ATM's are not free.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to get a refund of the charges incurred because of the misleading advertisement. Also update the website with a footprint or take off the advertisement that says Access to over 55,00 Allpoint ATM's Surcharge Free.

Review: A home loan was obtained by Carver Federal Savings Bank. We are not able to fulfill our obligation and agreed to enter into a short sale. Carver has been very unresponsive with ensuring that the deal goes through and at the same time began a foreclosure proceeding. We have done everything that they haved asked, and its appears as if they are talking advantage of our situation. The structure of their company is very organized with ensuring proper customer service to fulfill their end of our agreement. We have no where else to turn for protection of our rights. They are forcing us to spend money that we do not have to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: Short sale to take place and to cease and desist the process of a foreclosure.

Review: I was informed by the representatve that the normal procedure for closing an account is to write a notarized signed letter and forward it to the [redacted] Branch. I completed the process January 2014 and never recieved my remaining balance. I decided to call and was told that the branch did not recieve the notarized letter. I was brushed off the phone quickly and no one took the time to check as the phone call lasted 2 minutes. Unfortunately, I had no way of tracking this attempt, therefore my second attempt, I decided to send a certify letter through the mail to ensure I can track delivery. After waiting for a month, I looked on the [redacted] website and notice that my letter was delivered Dec **, 2014 and now it is March and I still have not recieved my remaining balance in the mail. I do not feel comfortable with this type of service and the representatives were not very helpful. FYI: The tracking number is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I am still awaiting for my remaining balance in a check form and maybe this bank needs to be aware about better customer service. Due to this service, I want to ensure that I get all my money in the account.

Review: Carver Federal Savings Bank has deposited a Stolen check, which was my check, issued from [redacted] for damages payout from the claims department. The check was deposited into a merchant who has an account with Carver Federal Savings Bank. I have contacted the Bank, and so have [redacted] on numerous occasions. They first claimed that they have a 120 day max to have the problem resolved. Then, the company did not respond do [redacted] nor myself regarding this matter.

[redacted], the claims specialist who is handling the case have not responded after speaking to her on one occasion. [redacted] has already provided her with an affidavit, police report, and statement. She still hasn't provided any update on why they have not reached their compliance goals in refunding my check issued from [redacted] that was stolen and entered in one of their consumer accounts. This is very frustrating to have to continuously deal with and wait for.Desired Settlement: I want my funds back in which my check was issued to myself, and stolen. I also want Carver Federal Savings Bank to follow their policies and procedures and not ignore customers. This is unacceptable and shouldn't happen to anyone.

This is the third compliant Carver Bank has been in receipt of, regarding this

matter on behalf of [redacted]. As stated in our response submitted on June

*, 2015, Carver Bank has investigated this matter and apprised [redacted],

who submitted the Affidavit of Forgery, that our investigation revealed our

customer New Horizon provided information that services were rendered to [redacted] for repairs to a vehicle.

In the third letter received, [redacted] is stating the check in question was

drawn on Capital One Bank. The Affidavit of Forgery received by Carver Bank and

signed by [redacted] (dated August **,2014) clearly denotes the check is drawn

on [redacted]. Carver has a copy of the check in question, and it is duly

noted the check was issued by [redacted], Government Employees Insurance

Co is the maker of the account at [redacted]. The check duly notes this

check was issued for collision coverage, claim number:[redacted].

Carver Federal Savings Bank has reviewed this matter with our Legal Division

and our decision to not honor the forged endorsement claim still stands. We

have been in communication with [redacted] accordingly.

Review: It was in june 2014 I had a problem with the owner of the building that I rent from. I used to pay my rent on time but the owner had a problem, because he wasn't paying his morgage. And they ask us to moved out ,I just gave them a check when they told me to move out so I called the bank right away, I spoked to a costomer service I asked her to put a stop payiment on a check that I had esued to the owner

I asked her if I have to come to the bank she told me know I don't have to, she will do it then I said ok.

But in january 2015 I find out that the bank took out $1350 in my account I call them to find out what is going on then they told me that it because there was a check that I esued to the landlord they told me that the check was alrady send out to the landlord, so they did not take the money out, witch is not tru that day when I call that is the first thing that I asked the costomer service she told me know then I said please put a stop payiment in it for me. so she told me she did. I just don't understand why the waited after six months to take the money out. Hurt me complitely because I was making payment on my bills on time, but know I can't because I don't have a back up payment anymore that is the reson I am contacted you to see if anything that you can do for me to get the money back, I will appreciate you very much thank you.
