I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This response provided is just not very accurate at allI came in originally and TOLD them I had recently replaced the motor - it had been benched tested even though it was usedI was quoted $for checking electrical problems not including a fix unless it was a simple one (which it turned out to be much simpler than changing out the motor) They said they were sure it was the motor and replaced itI got up at 3:AM the very next day to leave for MN, turned on the wipers to clear off the due and nothing happenedLater on that very same day in Minneapolis, I managed to get it in a shop that was getting ready to close and they said no way was it the motor, but a wiring problemI had to drive through heavy storms in Wisconsin & continually pull overCould it be they took the easier more profitable way out instead of fixing my wiper? Also, I must mention what it was that really ticked me of was when I asked for some kind of compromise, he threatened in a rude way to charge me the $for wiring repair which by the way took less than a half hourCan I also add that I went in on Friday morning Sept& requested to get their mistake reversed and they put me off until Mon even though rain was predicted and they are open Saturdays? It's real nice that they offered me a "FREE" oil change when it doesn't hardly cost them anythingMeanwhile I had to waste all of that time and money and be put in danger due to their mistakeIf I treated my customers that way I would be out of business. Finally, I'm not saying that there was anything intentional or malicious about this to begin withBut the way it was handled after the fact and the response to my complaint does make me wonder Regards, [redacted]

*** *** originally came into Carworx on 09-04-with his wiper blades not working on his Chevrolet Astro VanMy technician checked out his vehicle and found that the fuse was blownHe replaced the fuse and performed a current draw test on the wiper motorThe wiper motor was drawing

Re: [redacted] On Saturday, July 25, [redacted] called to schedule an oil change for $24.95, When he dropped the vehicle off, he asked that I check for a noise — possibly struts, and then asked that I check for a defective caliper. Once my technician checked out the vehicle, he informed me...

that this car took Dexos oil and had a dirty air filter. I called and left a message for [redacted] to call me back. When he did, I informed him of the extra charge for Dexos oil and the air filter. He said OK and that he would pick up the car before 3. I informed him that once a claim is started, the car can't leave the shop because the warranty company will deny the claim. So on his phone statement he should have three phone calls and a voice message. On Monday, [redacted] informed me that he didn't ask for an oil change because someone just did one two weeks ago or something. In the interest of customer relations and to close the claim I agree to refund 34.95 for the oil change. [redacted]

This response provided is just not very accurate at all. I came in originally and TOLD them I had recently replaced the motor - it had been benched tested even though it was used. I was quoted $125 for checking electrical problems not including a fix unless it was  a simple one (which it turned out to be much simpler than changing out the motor).  They said they were sure it was the motor and replaced it. I got up at 3:30 AM the very next day to leave for MN, turned on the wipers to clear off the due and nothing happened. Later on that very same day in Minneapolis, I managed to get it in a shop that was getting ready to close and they said no way was it the motor, but a wiring problem. I had to drive through heavy storms in Wisconsin & continually pull over. Could it be they took the easier more profitable way out instead of fixing my wiper? Also, I must mention what it was that really ticked me of was when I asked for some kind of compromise, he threatened in a rude way to charge me the $300 for wiring repair which by the way took less than a half hour. Can I also add that I went in on Friday  morning Sept. 18 & requested to get their mistake reversed and they put me off until Mon even though rain was predicted and they are open Saturdays? It's real nice that they offered me a "FREE" oil change when it doesn't hardly cost them anything. Meanwhile I had to waste all of that time and money and be put in danger due to their mistake. If I treated my customers that way I would be out of business. Finally, I'm not saying that there was anything intentional or malicious about this to begin with. But the way it was handled after the fact and the response to my complaint does make me wonder.
