Casa Mira View Reviews (2)

I think I waited long enough to write this review About a month ago, a friend of mine invited us over to go to the gym with her Yes, we get it, guests per resident, and she must sign in We were waiting for our friend to walk down from her apartment but we had to use the bathroom and change clothes, so we decided to meet her upstairs We didn't think it was a big deal or felt we were doing something illegal Especially seeing people going in and out WITHOUT being questioned Again, we get it, we should have waited for our friend to arrive An employee named Matthew stopped us by saying, "WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Ladiessss! Are YOUUUUUU a resident? So, we stopped and kindly answered no, but our friend is and she is almost here Matthew then asked, "ARE YOU THE FOB?" We're Asians, so for us, that's a little rude Of course, we said no but our friend is Let me back up a little bit before Matthew confronted us, a guy opened the door for us and another guy also walked in the same time as us Matthew didn't stop the other guy and questioned him, instead he decided to pick on us Matthew then rudely suggested that we needed to wait outside, and so we did He also proudly said that; "I'll be checking up on you guys again and your friend better be here At that point, all I can think about; are gym receptionist supposed to act like a douche bag? Our friend gets there and we all go in and advise her to sign in Now, you have to walk around to get to the actual area where residents supposed to sign in Matthew didn't waste any time, he got up and met our friend in the hallway Again, with the rude question, "ARE YOU THE FOB? Our friend responded, you mean this key fob and yes, I'm the resident Matthew didn't seem to care and went on explaining Casa Mira View rules and regulations and this and that and etc Then, all of sudden, he loudly said that we gave him a bad attitude He also said the guy that opened the door for us was his co-worker and he even laughed at us for rolling our eyes It's funny how all these accusations and elaborate story started coming up when our friend is already there to sign in and make him happy Of course, we were all shocked and immediately said; wait a second, none of us gave you an attitude nor rolled our eyes I'm pretty sure he's confusing our facial impressions from being attacked by someone at the gym and being called a FOB out of nowhere It keeps getting worst, Matthew made unrealistic comment that we could be "homeless or robbers" As a mom and a woman, we were offended that he actually thought we looked dirty and had a masked on ready to tell people to put their hands up Our friend defended us by saying, "Do they look homeless to you?" Matthew kept on talking down to our friend that I couldn't keep it cool anymore So, I yelled and said; "Why are you still talking? She's already doing what you need her to do Matthew didn't care and still kept on talking and insisted that our friend should have known these rules and they were in fact in the leasing documents The worst part of it all, Matthew was so proud that he thinks he's doing such a great job, that he called another resident that was passing by and said; "Hey man, you knew that you're supposed to sign in and, out right? Of course, the guy said yes First of all, we already admitted what we did was a mistake but Matthew DOES NOT have the right to embarrass a paying resident in front of other people We couldn't wait to be done with this nonsense, so we GLADLY THANKED HIM, and hoped that he has a great nightI couldn't help it, so I laughed, and Matthew didn't like that He came back and threaten us that he's going to call security That's when I became more upset and told him; go ahead What is the security guard going to do? We're not disturbing anyone, nor vandalizing the place We simply didn't sign in I already know that Casa Mira View is not going to do anything about it but I will post this on every single apartment websites and I will also email it to the owner of Casa Mira View I'm also sure that I'm just wasting my time but I do NOT appreciate Matthew's bullying, talking down to residents, and especially degrading women Making racial and ridiculously rude comments, when all we wanted to do was to join our friend and make each other feel good about ourselves after having a long day at work With all these being said; what do I know, I could just be homeless and ready to rob people at the gym

I think I waited long enough to write this review.....
About a month ago, a friend of mine invited us over to go to the gym with her. Yes, we get it, 2 guests per resident, and she must sign in. We were waiting for our friend to walk down from her apartment but we had to use the bathroom and change clothes, so we decided to meet her upstairs. We didn't think it was a big deal or felt we were doing something illegal. Especially seeing people going in and out WITHOUT being questioned. Again, we get it, we should have waited for our friend to arrive.
An employee named Matthew stopped us by saying, "WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Ladiessss! Are YOUUUUUU a resident? So, we stopped and kindly answered no, but our friend is and she is almost here. Matthew then asked, "ARE YOU THE FOB?" We're Asians, so for us, that's a little rude. Of course, we said no but our friend is. Let me back up a little bit before Matthew confronted us, a guy opened the door for us and another guy also walked in the same time as us. Matthew didn't stop the other guy and questioned him, instead he decided to pick on us. Matthew then rudely suggested that we needed to wait outside, and so we did. He also proudly said that; "I'll be checking up on you guys again and your friend better be here. At that point, all I can think about; are gym receptionist supposed to act like a douche bag?
Our friend gets there and we all go in and advise her to sign in. Now, you have to walk around to get to the actual area where residents supposed to sign in. Matthew didn't waste any time, he got up and met our friend in the hallway. Again, with the rude question, "ARE YOU THE FOB? Our friend responded, you mean this key fob and yes, I'm the resident. Matthew didn't seem to care and went on explaining Casa Mira View rules and regulations and this and that and etc. Then, all of sudden, he loudly said that we gave him a bad attitude. He also said the guy that opened the door for us was his co-worker and he even laughed at us for rolling our eyes. It's funny how all these accusations and elaborate story started coming up when our friend is already there to sign in and make him happy. Of course, we were all shocked and immediately said; wait a second, none of us gave you an attitude nor rolled our eyes. I'm pretty sure he's confusing our facial impressions from being attacked by someone at the gym and being called a FOB out of nowhere.
It keeps getting worst, Matthew made unrealistic comment that we could be "homeless or robbers". As a mom and a woman, we were offended that he actually thought we looked dirty and had a masked on ready to tell people to put their hands up. Our friend defended us by saying, "Do they look homeless to you?" Matthew kept on talking down to our friend that I couldn't keep it cool anymore. So, I yelled and said; "Why are you still talking? She's already doing what you need her to do. Matthew didn't care and still kept on talking and insisted that our friend should have known these rules and they were in fact in the leasing documents.
The worst part of it all, Matthew was so proud that he thinks he's doing such a great job, that he called another resident that was passing by and said; "Hey man, you knew that you're supposed to sign in and, out right? Of course, the guy said yes. First of all, we already admitted what we did was a mistake but Matthew DOES NOT have the right to embarrass a paying resident in front of other people. We couldn't wait to be done with this nonsense, so we GLADLY THANKED HIM, and hoped that he has a great night. I couldn't help it, so I laughed, and Matthew didn't like that. He came back and threaten us that he's going to call security. That's when I became more upset and told him; go ahead. What is the security guard going to do? We're not disturbing anyone, nor vandalizing the place. We simply didn't sign in....
I already know that Casa Mira View is not going to do anything about it but I will post this on every single apartment websites and I will also email it to the owner of Casa Mira View. I'm also sure that I'm just wasting my time but I do NOT appreciate Matthew's bullying, talking down to residents, and especially degrading women. Making racial and ridiculously rude comments, when all we wanted to do was to join our friend and make each other feel good about ourselves after having a long day at work.
With all these being said; what do I know, I could just be homeless and ready to rob people at the gym.....
