Casa Pawn

I am writing in response to the complaint that you received against my business, Casa Pawn. While wedo have a 14-day money back promise, that is extended to end users, not resellers as the complainantwas identified when he attempted to return the golf clubs.The customer identified himself based upon his comments outlined in the employee statement that isattached. Further, he made the same reference to me by stating he “was doing us a favor” trying to sellthem and when he couldn’t he wanted to return them. He also stated, “he even cleaned” them” for us.That was when I informed him that I would not be returning his money and that he didn’t do us anyfavors by removing the golf clubs from our shop for two weeks causing us to lose opportunities to sellthem ourselves. I believe my exact words were, “sounds like you bought yourself a set of golf clubs”. Ialso told him our return policy wasn’t in place for him to try to make money off our backs and when itdoesn’t work out, simply return the item.He stated in his complaint that he tried to use the clubs and that they didn’t help. I struggle with thatbecause the golf clubs did not appear to have been hit and our string tag was still attached to the bag asshown in the attached picture from when he attempted to return them.We have been in business since Sept 2018 and during that time we have had over 230 returns withoutone complaint, up until now. (see attached) I have no problems taking care of my customers, but Irefuse to be taken advantage of by an individual who only wants to profit off the back of someone else’smerchandise and when it doesn’t work out, return it.Sincerely,***
