Casa Ramos Mexican Restaurants

On July 8, 2018, my Daughter, Granddaughter and I went to enjoy a Meal at CASA Ramos Mexican Restaurant in Folsom, CA. I ordered a bowl of Posole. It is a Pork Soup traditionally made of a soup base made of red chilli/ with seasonings, Boneless Pork Shoulder and Hominy corn. When I placed my order the waiter said "Yes we are serving Posole today! It comes in a big bowl."
When the meal was served the first thing noticed by my granddaughter was the colour of the soup base. It was a not a red chilli base but more of a boiled meat only base. The bowl was shallow and containing a soup made with hominy, meat flakes and bones. When attempting to eat it I got a mouthful of bones. The Bones should not be served to customers as it is hazardous and not the way this meal is generally made. They are to use BONELESS PORK SHOULDER. That is what I expected. Also, it is a mystery to me as to what type of meat was used in the soup to produce that many and type of bones (joints,some bones looked like chicken bones, small shards, etc.)!? What was it?
I addressed it with the Manager and She informed me that the Cooks use the bone to flavour the soup. I told her that the bones should be removed and not served to customers. And that I almost broke my tooth when I bit down on a piece of bones that were in the broth that looked like a piece of corn. She took away the bowl stating that she would speak to the Cook. The Manager never returned to our table. However, she discounted my meal of soup and coffee, but only after I made a request to my waiter that she address my check. The Manager charged me half the cost of the soup. I paid without causing a scene, however. I should not have been charged anything. I paid a total of $9.16 for coffee and a horrible bowl of Posole. I am requesting that this is investigated; that the soup is served without bones so as not to cause somebody to choke or break a tooth and my money is reimbursed. I am also reporting the incident to the Health Department in Folsom.
