I do not accept this response because I did not purchase my package on January 6th as I explained to the company already I did not have the money to do soI agreed to purchase the package January 15th when I would have money to purchase the package and the company also agreed I would be able to purchesae the package on that daySo It was agreed I would purchesae the package on January 15th and the money would be charged to my bank account on that day accordinglyThis company's contention that the package was purchased on the sixth is their way of trying to scam their way out of issuing a refund on this bogus vacationI would like to attach the email I have that was sent to me by the company congratulating me for my purchase of the vacation package dated January 15th but do not know how to include it in this responseI will not allow myself to be victim of poor business practices and scams such as thisWe will just dispute this with a court now !!

I bought the travel package thru another company, not Platinum Peaks TravelI can provide the payment proof
Also I called to cancel the purchase in days and I followed the instruction to mail the cancellation requestI did send a cancel request in daysI was told as long as the postmark shows within days, it is OK
The bad policy about the company is they charge people immediately on the phoneBut when customers ask for cancellation and refund, they are not allowed to make the cancellation request on the phone, by fax or emailThe company give customers hard time for cancellation because there are a lot of complaints about the company's travel packages
On the internet you can find many complaints about the company I bought the package from and also about Platinum Peak TravelThis two companies have bad reputations for their travel packages and customer services
Again, I did not buy travel package from Platinum Peak TravelI did not authorize the company to charge my credit cardI did not give them my personal information and credit card informationThe company charged my card without my knowledge and consent
I have the right to dispute the charge and get the money back from Platinum Peak Travel

My company definitely never uses the bait and switch tactic. We wouldn't be in business for 2 years and help over 4,000 people get a discounted vacation if we did. As for your particular situation, We got special permission to sell you the...

vacation, and you were qualified. We go over all qualifications several times on each phone call and would be happy to submit the recording. When the reservations agent told you to call in the morning to confirm you never did. We also went over the policies with you on the phone and so did the reservation agent. We were charged a one night fee for your reservation and worked out a deal that if you would come back and use your vacation then they would waive the fee. The package you bought was non-refundable due to you purchasing 2 days prior to your arrival date. Then you filed a chargeback with your credit card company, and they decided in my companies favor because of the policies that were explained to you. It's a shame that when customer's like yourself don't follow the rules stated, then it all of sudden becomes the companies fault. As for me not calling you back, that is a complete lie, I talked to you several times. You are welcome to use what you paid for anytime before May 2016 or you are welcome to take care of the one night fee and have the difference returned.

The number you have on file must not be the number you originally called to give the vacation "we won." We can show you our phone records if need be to prove you never called us. You also did not play the recording for us. Also, why would you tell us to write a letter a letter to cancel if we couldn't? Why would Blue Green Vacations tell us it was canceled at one point and that your company called us and we "reopened the account." I want to talk to Mitchell Brooks, he is the one that told us we could cancel within 30 days.

There was definitely a discrepancy on the phone call. You have filled a charegeback with your credit card company and I'm sure they will take care of it. Sorry for everything. You guys seemed very excited about the vacation on the sales call, Don't understand what happened in the mean time.

My husbands plant is temporarily shutting down and we did not find out until two days after we purchased this vacation. It does not appear as a refund on our credit card bill, but we are more concerned that if we do not ever schedule it, we will be charged a bigger amount because we did not go through the tour and meeting at Pigeon Forge. Will that happen?
