I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowIf you view the attached screen shots of the email (s) that I received from *** *** stating his intent to mail the “coupon”So what was reported to the Revdex.com was in fact a lie and NOT a miscommunicationI have no intention of ever patronizing this business and/or removing the negative review on social media or this complaint. We had received a letter from the Revdex.com regarding a matter with an unpleased individual. This individual had been selected at random on Facebook amongst hundreds of submittals and won a year of free lunch buffet. This was a huge win and the terms were being explained via...
messaging from one of our managers after she had won her prize. The prize was more of a known reward and she could have come in at anytime to claim it and use it. We were trying to avoid sending a paper certificate through the mail for liability purposes and we needed to confirm her identity to make our establishment familiar with the individual that was to take advantage of the free year long buffet. There was a miscommunication somewhere along the line and she had claimed she had not yet received her prize a week later. We had not intended to send anything, she was to come in person to enjoy the lunch buffet. This customer had already gone to the Revdex.com, but had failed to contact us or stop in to claim her prize. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused her. We were most definitely not denying her Free Buffet, she only needed to come in to enjoy it in person and we would have honored it at anytime. We would like to come to a resolution for this matter.
