piecesThis inventory did not include any boxesAble Moving and Storage Binding Moving Estimate clearly states “This BINDING estimate is based upon the specific items to be moved and services ordered as listed on the estimateYour estimated price is guaranteed not to change unless you order additional services, add additional items to be moved, or additional weight or cubic feet to be moved which are not listed on the estimate.” This inventory was given to the Moving Consultant by the customer and was reviewed once more when the customer had to Electronically sign the ContractOn the day of the move there was inventory that was not listed and the price went up accordingly.Also, as per the agreement payments are to be paid directly to the movers at pick up and at deliveryWe are not sure where our *** *** mailed payment to; however if *** can forward to Able Moving and Storage any correspondence and proof of payment that was mailed, we will more than gladly assist *** in tracking down that payment and properly crediting that payment to the balance of the moving costAlso if *** can kindly forward proof that items were left behind, Able Moving and Storage will do its best to properly compensate for any lost time or delays caused by this errorAble Moving and Storage will do everything in our power to ensure that this customer is satisfied.Tell us why here

I am rejecting this response because:
This is a bold face lie!!!!!The only time they contacted me I told them that I never contested this transaction and that they would need the actual card number to refund me my money They have never contacted to tell me what the reason for the transaction not going through I have contacted my card and there has not been any transaction denied on their end for refunds The card services told me that if Able Moving and Storage is trying to reverse the transaction, that will not work They have to key in the card numbers and select a refund to the card If they still can't get the refund through, the transaction has been through statement cycles where a check can be made out to me and sent to me I just called the credit card again and they researched and found no rejected refunds in the amount of $coming back oonto the card in the last months This card was paid through Pay Pal per Able's saleman, Kyle There fore if they need my credit card information, they need to contact me immediately. I have had only one contact from Able Moving and that in November I have not heard from them since and they will not accept phone calls from me I send emails and they are never answered I will try to call and see if they will pick up on the call today I highly doubt it as my phones number go directly into voice mails.

I am rejecting this response because: I gave an accurate inventory based on questions asked and information required. I was also told that if I didn't the rate given prior to move would be less than the rate available at day of move which was not correctThe movers arrived on agreed day and advised it is for them to rent a truck collect all moves and then disperse to trucks according to deliveries. I was also made to sign all paperwork, under duress, that if I didn't sign they would not start loading my things on the truck. They told me it didn't matter what was on the inventory it is all based on cubic feet so regardless if inventory was complete accurately I was going to be charged more and they could not tell me how much that would be until the truck was loaded. I packed all my things they did not have to pack anything. They wrapped furniture in blankets but that was all to have been included in rate.I was told I was booking my move with an A+Revdex.com rated company and that would ensure I would not have to be concerned with bait and switch tactics that *** uses which is the original company I booked my move with. Instead the subcontractors they used are not Revdex.com rated at all. This is not what I was told I was buying as they come with no assurance except scare tactics and making me sign things under duress and threats.I was also told my things would not be in storage, they made me sign a form the whole time assuring me my things would not be in storage. Multiple attempts calling customer service continually told me my things were in storage and the never, not once called me back to advise delivery date. I had received a call from the company that picked up my furniture on 11/advising they would be delivering my belongings in 4-days and the actually arrived on day 11. At no time from pick up to delivery could anyone accurately advise where my belongings were, just still in storage in Illinois.I did not receive the service promised and nobody should be treated this way, it is not fair or ethical

I am rejecting this response because: the movers still did not pack the truck well, and in fact your issue of safety is not one that is okayThe way the truck was packed like this was even less safe! And took up more space! Plus, none of these items that you listed in the "contract" were items I was informed about at the time of paying my deposit on my binding quoteHad I been aware of this, I would have taken my business elsewhereHowever, since it was moving day and I was set to leave the state, I had no choice but to continueI was bait and switched

to Cubic feetOn the day of the move the use of a rental truck was required in order to accommodate the customer's desired pickup dateWhen the foreman and loaders arrived the customer had added even more additional items bringing the inventory to cubic feet that is to say they added an additional 6,Pounds.Also, as per our contract, certain items needed to be prepared and packed before pick up - not just boxes, but Mattresses, TV’s pictures and breakable items such as glass itemsThe customer signed agreeing that the additional inventory did exist and that these items must be prepared properly in order to prevent damage during transportHere at Able Moving and Storage we seek to expedite the customer's delivery as quickly and as safely possible allowed by lawWe will do everything in our power to ensure that this customer is satisfied

I have filed this complaint with the carrier association for moving companies along with this complaint. It seems that Able Moving is not responding to you or to them. I have made numerous phone calls to them, but my phone number is set to go straight to the voice mail of the Customer
Service Manager. I do get him on the phone,he is rude and refuses to give me any information. As of 11/26/2016, I still don't have my refund and this is causing my husband and I to become homeless as I can't make up the deposit for the rental. It has caused a very large rift in the family as we has to ask to borrow money and of course that did not work either As of 11/26/2016, I had left another voice mail with the customer service manager and I know that I will not get a call back. I need my money as we live on a limited amount of money coming in each month. I am trying to find away to file a suit against all parties involved via legal aid. I don't have the money to pay for this and now I will be homeless in days *** ***

I am rejecting this response because: I did not find this out until I got a hold of David in Customer Service on 12/7/ David researched and told me that they tried to refund the card, but it failed That was never conveyed to me in all the phone calls I made to Able Moving I did tell David that that card can not be refunded as it is a card issued by my college for refunds and I put extra money it to save for emergencies The only ones that can put money on this card are myself or school I did tell David to have a check issued and sent overnight to me David had told me that he would get back to me with what was going to transpire On the afternoon of 12/7/2016, I received an email from the Accounting Department stating that they could not refund my card I emailed back telling them that the card will not accept refunds from them and to please send a check via overnight I have not heard back from the Accounting Department I did calll today and went straight into a voice mail for Anthony M*** I left the message that the card can not be refunded and that a check would have to be issued and please overnight the check As of 6:21pm 12/9/2016, I have not heard from anyone All I want is my money back If the credit card is not accepting a refund why don't they send a check??????I have made over calls to this company and yet to have a call back to let me know what is going on This company has become a dishonest company and is playing a sleazy game with my money All I want is my $back immediatelyThis scompany has had my address and phone number from the start Why can't they at least call and give me information on where my money is I am very disappointed and have put my comments outs to every place I can to let others know not to use this company for any kind of move Regards,

I never receive a replay or information on where my refund is. I have told Dave the Customer Service representative, that the card can not be credited back. I had been told by the sales person that because Pay Pal was used, the Accounting Department would have to issue check.I had received emails from the Accounting Department, but they never answer my replies. I call Able Moving on either my cell phone or my husband's cell phone, and all of our calls go directly into a voice mail that is never returnedI can't get this company to refund me my money and now the Sheriff has issued us an eviction notice that we now have to be out before Christmas. So for Christmas, mu family will be homeless with no where to go until 1/15/2017 when our apartment will be ready in Florida. Able Moving has caused so much distress and anxiety that should never put on anyone This has been the worst experience of my life and I have put bad reviews every where I can about this company *** ***

In which time the sales rep informed the customer that the accounting department will contact the customer to verify the customer's account information to properly credit the funds.The accounting department made several attempts to contact the customer with no success. ability while keeping the safety of the items in mind. Now while the statement of “If you have not signed the mover's revised estimate, and the mover loads the truck, then Federal regulation requires that the mover has reaffirmed the original estimate” it is missing the rest of the the sentance of “ and cannot demand additional payment at delivery for the additional items.” So the foreman could not ask for any additional monies at delivery but did require more funds at the pick up for the additional cubic feet taken up in the truck.Also at time of delivery an 18 wheeler was needed for delivery. And is specified in the Moving Agreement under PARKING RESTRICTIONS “ If the truck physically or for reasons of parking restrictions cannot park close enough, Long Carrying or Shuttle Truck Service charges will apply and added to the original agreement” and the cost for said shuttle is listed under Optional Accessorial Services and Additional fees (if applicable to the move): Shuttle service: If required $1.00 x c.f. (min $300)And if we look at the agreement ‘AGENTS: Able Moving Corp may use agents/independent contractors on all orders” While here at Able moving and Storage we try our best not to use agents or independent contractors it is sometimes needed for logistical purposes.Unfortunately in long distance moving there may be instances of damage, and we do encourage [redacted] to file a claim to be compensated for any damages her furniture may have sustained.Here at Able Moving and Storage we seek to expedite the customer's delivery as quickly and as safely possible allowed by law.
