Re ID [redacted]

The salesman has put a call into [redacted] to personally talk to him and apologize but has not heard back from him. We are refunding his $1000 but as you can see below he did a lot of work and follow up, which is what the PA agreement for $1000 says we will do and we performed accordingly.

Thank you,

Review: On September 17, 2013, I made an appointment with a representative of CASE-Design Remodeling, named [redacted] He never showed up. All subsequent discussions were by phone. At each stage, [redacted] failed to do his job. He did not send the proposal, did not send the contract, did not have the contract signed, did not send the ancillary agreements, and did not send the lead abatement pamphlet, until I reminded him several times to to carry out each step. Most importantly, he failed to put this project on the schedule, and instead went on vacation. The contract specified that the work would start this week, but when no one arrived, and I called, the CASE representative said he knew nothing about it. At no time did [redacted] manage this project competently. When I finally reached [redacted] at the end of the day, he babbled on and on about "confusion." There was no "confusion" about the scope of work and the dates it should be done: those details were clearly specified in the written CASE contract. Both CASE and I signed that contract, I sent in the requested deposit, and CASE did not do the work specified.Desired Settlement: Start and finish this job. Register this complaint on the Revdex.com website to warn others not to hire CASE.

Review: [redacted]

I accept the response, but would still like to assure that my complaint is made public. 1. Although one of the two jobs was completed last week, it took a tremendous amount of effort on my part to see that each stage was started and completed. Due to many errors by CASE, and the work was not even started until a week after the finish date specified in the contract. 2. The second job was never started, so I engaged another company to carry it out, which they did within three days, from start to finish.

If you want to hire a handyman service that takes the burden of home repair off your shoulders, [redacted] from CASE Design Remodeling has not proven to me that they can still do that, so I advise you to look elsewhere.
