Management doesn't care
Was hired part time packing cardboard, the hours are not consistent, your left to fix things yourself because there's nobody around, there safety rules are made to protect themself s, not the worker, benefits are only fore the elites, lack of communication, they act like they own u, like your below them, if you considering working part time fore this company, then I must warn you there's no benefits

Total disrespect for customers.
This is a minus five stars. After two years, with no complaints, they claim that our driveway is unsafe to exit. Did not even tell us that they were not going to service us any more. Almost 3 weeks have passed. We now have trash and garbage that I don't know what to do with. Terrible customer service.

They really don't...customer service is poor.

They pick up my dumpster then they call to add charges for a refrigerator a air conditioner and a tire, I know we didn't put these idioms in the dumpster I am a HVAC co, the refrigerator and the a/c unit we strip down all the time and I get money for these idioms I would never throw away money, or pay someone to get rid of these idioms that I get money for, they don't kept track of there dumpsters of where they are coming from, I will not use this Co every again.

Would be zero stars if possible. Took 2 weeks to drop off 2 yd dumpster, perhaps once or twice (at most) emptied said dumpster on time (based on the schedule they sent us) and when we finally ended our contract with them? Took 2 weeks to pick up their dumpster. Bet they take forever to refund money we were assured we were owed.

Non-existant customer service, no followup and no resolution of months long issues.

I would not recommend this company to anyone, anywhere.

Castella waste is the worst trash company I've ever been through. The owner is a very sly lying owner. He open my account after they put a hold on my account the 2 days they send bills out thinking we wouldn't notice. Beware of your bills to everyone cause your probably being scammed by this company. I would not recommend very sy company and owner

They dont keep schedules for business, then are unable to understand customers frustrations! If I treated MY customers like I was treated- I would be OUT of work!

9/12/17 Casella Waste has been nothing but a problem since they started picking up trash and recycling for the Town of Fairfax. I am a resident and on multiple occasions they have not picked up my trash. I've spoken with people at their "Customer Care" location and they have lied to me and misinformed me and are completely incompetent. If the agreement was with me and not the town I would fire them. There has been no proactive approach to their solving this problem. Why can it be so difficult to empty a trash container? I'll do everything legally possible to have them removed as our provider - especially since our taxes went up to deliver the worst service experience possible.

Geneva casella waste is the worst garbage company I have ever seen. My mother had dumpsters brought in 7 months ago. They put them in the wrong spot and took forever to move them. Then 6 months ago the tore up the yard said they'd fix it but haven't been back to fix it or dump either dumpster. We've had wild animals coming around, garbage going everywhere and it stinks. I also have the safety of our kids and neighbors to think about. We have called and called. They say they'll call back and don't. Said they'd be out and haven't. I just called because they told my mother 2 weeks ago they'd be out. And haven't. I was accused of yelling, calling the lady names and of threatening them. I have the conversation recorded and witnesses here. And I NEVER did any of that. Oh wait I did say I'd get a lawyer involved. I am disgusted. Oh and it's my fault they haven't been out because apparently me being on the phone for 5 minutes has kept them from getting their jobs done. Wow! For real! Is this the new way to do business? I missed that memo!

Problems with this company since day one! I only been customer for 3 months! They were late delivering the container. Problems again with picking up the container this month full of excuses! The driveway is full with ice or snow.. really? There was never a lot of ice or snow on my driveway! I have the ups, DHL and even Ashley furniture delivering my packages! There is never a complaint with another provider but them! I am so sick and tired of them I want the container out of my property and now they are giving me excuses again why they are 3 weeks late! I definitely do not recomend this company at all! And now they are demanding a payment for the non services? Yeah right!

If I could give a zero star review, I would; one star is too good for this company.

Let me preface this review by indicating that I chose Casella because they were the only company, two years ago, that also provided recycling in my area. What an awful decision that was.

Since day one I had issues with this company. From their drivers throwing the bins in front of my driveway, in the street, down the street from my home, etc. Constant calls the the company did not rectify this situation and they could never be bothered to put the bins back in the place where they took them and I would have to stop my car in the middle of the street in order to pick up my bins from the street and/or from blocking my driveway.

Trash was dumped out of the bins and on the ground to be left and not picked up at least once a month. Half of the bins were still left full after weekly pickups, or just not picked up at all. It's was a constant battle with this company and only got worse once I decided to cancel my service.

Beginning in October of 2015 I began to get absolutely frustrated with paying $50 a month for weekly trash pickup and bi-weekly recycling pickup to only have half services provided and this company not picking up my trash as they were paid to do, and not providing any sort of refund for the weeks that they did not do their job. I made a huge complaint with the company after 6, yes 6, pickups in 3 months were missed. I was still required to pay in full for these months after constant calls to the company and finally got very upset and demanded a refund for the entire month of October as I was provided ONE WEEK OF SERVICES. One week, in which they were paid for a full month of services.

Fast forward to November and the company calling me to indicate that my bins were not in an appropriate place for the drivers to pick up. My bins have, since day one, been placed to the right of my driveway on the edge of the street. Casella, apparently, needed them 3 feet apart, facing different directions, and was not shy about not picking up the trash if this was not done. My complaints about the trash bins being left haphazardly all over the street (to which my neighbors had to move the bins to drive down the street) and in front of my driveway of which I could count on not being able to pull in when they did decide to actually perform a pickup, since day one still remained unresolved, mind you.

And again we fast forward to February of 2016. Casella, again, decided I did not need weekly pickups and bi-weekly pickups of my recycling. My services were provided through February 11, 2016 and none thereafter. I contacted the company very upset that they didn't pick up my recycling once, and only picked my trash up on the 4th and 11th. After multiple arguments with their customer service representative about receiving a credit since they again failed to provide the services they were paid to provide through February. I disconnected the call, checked my bank records and reconciled my account with Casella, and contact a few days later to cancel my services with them effective February 29, 2016, explicitly advising that my services were to be cancelled the end of the month as I had paid for a full month and they had not been to my property to remove trash since February 11, 2016.

What a wonderful surprise it was to come home on the 25th of February to completely full recycling and trash bins. I contacted Casella asking why my services were not completed again and was told "you cancelled your account, our drivers will be there to pick up your empty bins on Friday the 26 of February" I advised the representative that they're more than welcome to pick up their bins on Friday; however, they will not be empty as they had failed to provide services since 2/11 and would be removing their trash from my property as well as their bins. Friday the 26th of February came and went without their trash and bins being removed from my property and no credit for their failure to provide services. I then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com as this company essentially stole my money for services they did not provide.

It's rather sad that I've had to file a complaint with the Revdex.com in order to receive a refund when this company could have easily refunded me for the weeks they did not provide services. If I do not work for a week, I do not get paid for a week. They should not either.

Since February 26th I've had to call the company every other day to see when they would be picking up their now month old trash and bins. Imagine my surprise and delight when I arrived home on March 7th to the bins being gone! Unfortunately, my delight lasted until I attempted to throw away a bag of trash into my new providers trash bins, and could not, because Casella illegally dumped month old waste and recycling into my new bins without permission.

I've since reported Casella for illegal dumping to the Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs of Massachusetts and reported the company for littering and illegal dumping to my local police department.

I will be sure to make everyone possible aware of how awful this company is and that they have no issue breaking the law. Illegal dumping is a felony and/or misdemeanor, not to mention utilizing trash bins that belong to another company is theft of property as I've had to pay for services with this company that I now cannot use until Casella's trash is removed.

If anyone is considering Casella, I urge you to consider carefully as this company has no problem with illegal activity and not providing services paid for. You will only be disappointed and overcharged if you utilize their services.

Review: casella waste failed to pick up our garbage quite often. repeated excuses of claming we never put our trash out on the given day of pick up. we have made many attempts to clear this issue up. we kept a both trash bin at the edge of our driveway. when they clamied to say they weren't there. this has beern going on for over two years. finally we had enough. aznd found a new provider to pick up or trash now. they xsent us a bill of $111 last month. which is wrong when they hardly ever provided us service.Desired Settlement: I want a credit of the remaining balance on my account.

Have tried to contact the customer via phone to try to resolve the complaint.

The only issue that we received an issue with pick up that wasn't payment related was a January 28th phone call and it wasn't to the curb so the driver didn't complete the service. We then had resolved with the customer to continue service.

Part of the amount owed is due to a redeliver of toters after a payment issue. We removed on December 30th and redelivered the toters on 1/6 and at that time we charged $50 reinstate fee for the account.

I am willing to waive that $50 fee and credit for the one service that we missed in March that was billed. April was never charged for as was shut off due to payment issue.

Total due current is $139.86 and I am willing to negotiate that to $69.93 to resolve the account.

Review: First called to set up new service on Feb 11, 2015. Paid $32 which was immediately taken from my VISA. They told me to place my trash to the curb it would be picked up that week. Well, they did not pick up my trash. Left me hanging. I called on 2/17 to be told the address had a previous bill. OKAY. Why are you now gonna question a previous bill after you took my payment and said you would pick up my trash. I was not going to argue with them. I don't owe a bill, you collected my money and told me I was a new customer. I asked for my money back. Im not doing business with a place that tells me to put my trash to the curb to have me scraping it off the ground the next week in minus 20 degrees because they didnt want to pick up my trash.

I called again on 2/20 after I still did not receive my money back. Was told it takes weeks. Im like no that aint happening. I will have my money back in a timely fashion. I had to request a supervisor call me who then told me she "pushed" the refund through and that it would be available today 2/20 or the following day 2/21. Well it's 2/21 I still have not received my money back. Called today some snotty [redacted]nswered to tell me it was sent and takes a few days to post to my bank. Whatever! To wait over a week to get MY money back is straight ridiculous!

I am very glad I ran into issues so I could choose another garbage carrier. I've heard many bad reviews about Casella, and I'm walking proof! I will never take my money to a business that cant even promptly refund my money. I feel that way about any business. Even my [redacted]! If you take my money, and I request it back it should be PROMPTLY. Not when Casella gets to it!!!!

I will spend my entire day sharing this experience with my local area. And it's my ultimate mission to refer your customers to a more legitimate company!Desired Settlement: My refund, as I asked on February 17, 2015. I would also suggest you get your refund procedures in order. Show me where in a policy it states refunds take this long. PLEASE I was told the local offices have to email corporate? OKAY so the local offices can take my money but cant refund it?

Our business requires a deposit in order to set up service. Once the service is established and deposit is taken, it then goes to our collections department to verify that there is no other account that has been set up that links this person· to any other account that has gone to collections and/or owes money. When the research was done, there was another account found with same address, but under a different name. Further research showed that the consumer id #[redacted] was actually the person who set up the other account that went to collections, but he put the account under another name. There was also a payment that was returned due to insufficient funds on the account that went to collections that references consumer id#[redacted]'s name. (Please see back up referenced as Exhibit a). Once it was identified that this person did in fact owe money on another account, the collections group attempted to contact consumer id#[redacted]. there was no answer nor was there a voice-mail that was set up for this person for us to leave a message. consumer id #[redacted], called into once on February 17, 2015, regarding not being serviced and at that time we explained that we could not service due to our investigation and findings. He refused to settle the amount that was owed, so requested account be cancelled and refund be issued. The account was closed and refund was issued on February 20,2015.
