I am rejecting this response because:That is incorrect Why would I withhold information if you would obviously find out and chage me later for it anyway? We discussed hail damage since *** *** actually pointed out some of it I also acknowledged in my complaint to the Revdex.com that I knew there would be "some" increase in the price due to unknown issues Casey's Paint could encounter when working on my car However, Casey's Paint gave me the impression that it would likely be minimal Not to mention I have never had a car painted before They are professionals It is their job to apply due diligence and get all the information they can about what needs to be done to my car in order to provide me with the best quote possible Which they did not do Instead they waited until my car was stripped down to bare metal before saying "Well you never told me about X." It's pretty convenient that they didn't ask me these questions until they had me over a barrel with my car stripped down to bare metal Additionally, they did NOT fix that stuff free of charge like they said Which is another case of them saying something misleading I paid $on 11/27/for materials to fix issues that the car still had Athough that was supposedly for materials It is still a charge Repainting my car was not only to fix these hail problems It was also to fix places where there were imperfections with their paint job that had nothing to do with hail dents or other issues with the actual car itself It was due to his screw ups with the paint job itself The $dollars was a "hand shake" deal But I can easily provide a picture of the check. Stating that there were no scratches, chips or lose bolts on the car when my friend picked it up are is an outright lie My car was towed from Casey's Paint shop and sat inside my garage until I came back to Austin No one touched it It is still sitting exactly where my friend put it since it still does not start The starer was burned out when Casey's Paint tried to start it without the ignition being hooked up properly Yes, I am aware that I cannot prove this However, it started and ran fine before I took it to Casey's Paint Once again, as they have pointed out I cannot prove that these scratches, chips and lose bolts were present when they gave it to me However, one has to think twice about this Seeing how when my friend picked up the car Casey *** himself immediately told me that if there were any issues with it that I'd have to get a lawyer That right there points to him knowing that I'd eventually see the problems with the car when I got back into townAnd by the time I saw the problems it would be too late to do anything about it Before this I had never had anyone tell me that I needed to get a lawyer if I found something wrong with their services as soon as they were done.This brings me to things I can prove though Like the paint over-spray his shop got on my hood hinges These hood hinges were professionally rebuilt and painted right before I took my car to Casey's Paint Casey also said he would fix the chips on my hood and fender extensions that he caused Well, there's still chips on my hood and on my fender extensions that he did not fix He merely spray painted over it That is not fixing it So, I am requesting that Casey's Paint pay for my hood and fender extensions to be painted correctly and for my hood hinges to be resprayed I will not ever let Casey's Paint touch my car again so they'll have to pay for another shop to do it They also need to pay for a shop to remove the hood and hood hinges and send the hood hinges back to the place I had them rebuilt so they can respray them There is also clearly a run in the paint or clear coat above the left side of the rear window that they need to pay to have fixed as well Unfortunately I can't move my car (since it does not start) to see the other side of it to see if there's anything else wrong with it This does not sound like they "strive for perfection"

First and foremost we want to apologize that your visit to Caseys Paint and Body was unsatisfactoryWe have gone over your complaints given but we'd also like to state that you've withheld vital information on your dealings with usWhen you first dropped the car off you stated the vehicle
didn't have any hail damage, so we painted it on your word that the car was free of any hail damageAfter the car was painted we discovered in fact it did have substantial hail damageWe strive for perfection at our shop and didn't feel it was morally right to give the car back in that condition, so we agreed upon painting the vehicle for a second time and completing the necessary body work needed, (i.eHail damage) free of chargeThis agreement along with the initial intake agreement are both signed by the customerWhen the vehicle was completed we requested the customer to pick it up personally so he could inspect it before we released itInstead he sent a friend and this friend did their own inspection and signed off on itWhen the vehicle left our premises there were no lose bolts or any scratchesThe customer has had the vehicle in his possession for a couple of months now and we can't be held liable for anything done off our premisesI hope you can understand, and once again I apologize for the inconvenience
