Review: In June I applied for a title loan at Advance Capital Resources LLC. 15182 Goldenwest St, Westminster, CA 92683. After previously having a bad experience with one of these companies I asked a lot of questions about their practices and was assured that they are nonhostile until an account goes more than 60-90 days past due. After completing the loan paperwork and signing I was informed that my payments would go to Wilshire Consumer Credit and that Wilshire was the company who actually provided and services the loan. The loan contract was already signed by me so there was nothing I could say, I came home and researched Wilshire Consumer Credit and found a 1 star rating on Yelp including several different reviewers with comments refering to their repossession attempts as little as 4 days after a missed payment and several making statements like "company is ran by satan." I opted to just make my payments and wait to see if things got bad. They have. I am currently 10 days late on making my November payment, and have stated to several different callers that I will be making the payment tomorrow (11/21) yet they continue to call me from phone numbers registered to fake businesses and do so a dozen or more times a day. A perfect example of their practices is me receiving a phone call an hour ago at 6:30pm during which I informed the representative that I would be paying tomorrow, and that I believe the interest is accruing at a higher rate than that my contract prescribes. She refused to look into my complaint and said 4 times "we will continue to call you." That was 60 minutes ago, and 20 minutes ago I received another automatic call from them. That is the burden they place on me at 10 days late, my phones are ringing so frequently I can barely operate the charity I run from a home office. This is a blatant BAIT AND SWITCH set up where I have no reasonable opportunity to research the ACTUAL loan company until my documents are complete.Desired Settlement: I feel that I entered into a null and void contract which didn't inform me of who provided the loan until all other loan documents were completed. I am willing to repay the principle less payments made thus far.
