Review: I was late on my payment to CASH PLUS and they referred me to a third party collection agency that they use. The third party collection agency says that they are The Corporate office of Cash plus however, this is false and misrepresentation as Cash Plus has told me they are a third party. [redacted] called me from a [redacted] number and did not explain to me that she was a debt collector. Instead, she said she was an investigator and threatened me saying if I didn't pay immediately the judicial system would take me into holding until I paid over a thousand dollars. I asked if I was on a recorded line and then she interrupted me asking quickly if I had anymore question then answered the question for me and immediately hung up. I called back to address my rights being violated and to ask for a manager as [redacted] from [redacted] Cash Plus told me to do, although, she tried tactics to collect my debt too rather than fully address my issue with the third party collectors. She knew them as the "[redacted] number." When I did call [redacted] back to ask for the maanger she laughed and said no but you can talk to my coworker. As the coworker [redacted] took the call he and [redacted], were subtly saying that I was a different customer, although they were just guessing, immediately when I started addressing my concerns [redacted] started calling me by the name of another consumer and addressing the other mans debt with me! He didn't verify my identity and when I pointed that out over him yelling at me and harassing me he then hung up. On the following day after already reporting this to Cash Plus and Cash Plus corporate office in Tustin I still continued to be harassed by [redacted], she called my work and again said she was an investigator. She left a voicemail which I still have claiming there's fraud regarding my social security number and that there is a "locate process order" throughout [redacted], CA for me. I am outraged at their aggressiveness to violate my rights. There are federal regulations against these tactics.Desired Settlement: You guys need to get a new collection agency and stop doing business with these people who are misrepresenting themselves and your franchise. You should file as a complaint against their company for their criminal acts. They are harassing your customers and your manager [redacted] is as well. When I called and addressed her about my issue she started asking me why I haven't set up payments and started pursuing her own tactics to get me to pay, your workers need proper training!
