August 26, 2016Dear [redacted] :Please be advised I am counsel for Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association insurance company ("PMAC"), which is in receipt of the aforementioned complaintKindly allow this letter to serve as my client's complete and timely response. From review of the complainant's complaint, it appears she complains that: (1) PMAIC opened a workers' compensation claim for her but misspelled her name; and (2) because of the incorrect spelling, she is experiencing issues with Medicare, in particular, with payment for shoesAs a proposed remedy, the complainant requests that PMAIC reimburse her for the shoes which Medicare has so far denied. In response, PMAIC corrected the misspelling of the complainant's name in its claim system, and the misspelling had no negative impact on her workers' compensation claimPMAIC contacted Medicare on July 22, 2016, informing them PMAIC's workers' compensation claim had closed and complainant was discharged from careAt that time, Medicare advised PMAIC it could take up to hours for a claim to close in their systemPMAIC forwarded this information to complainant's son.Thereafter, on August 19, 2016, complainant's son contacted PMAIC and advised Medicare was still showing the complainant's workers' compensation claim as being openPMAIC contacted Medicare and reiterated claimant's workers' compensation claim was closedAt that time, Medicare advised PMAC they have up to days to make a determination on complainant's claim for shoe reimbursement. The misspelling of complainant's name has no impact on the complaint's issues, as the issue appears that Medicare's systems did not properly acknowledge PMAIC's claim had closedComplainant's shoes were not a compensable expense to her workers' compensation claim, and PMAIC appropriately denied her request for a reimbursement, Therefore, complainant's proposed remedy that PMAC reimburse her for the cost of her shoes is respectfully denied.Thank you very much for your attention to this matterShould you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience

I am rejecting this response because:
The business is claiming that the issues are being caused by the incorrecting spellingIt is not the caseThe issues are being caused by PMA waiting years to close the claimWhy did the business wait till July 22, to close a claim back from 2011/2012? And because of this I have to wait another days on top of the days I have already waited
This is one of the greediest business I have ever seenThey have no compassion and only care about profits, not human beingsThe cost of the shoe would have been way less than the hourly rate of thier attorney
