Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The proprietor failed to address the main point of my original complaint; an unauthorized charge on my debit cardThough we may disagree on the cause of the damage, the central fact remains that he took it upon himself to charge my debit card for the full amount of the repair WITHOUT obtaining prior authorization from meHe claimed that he was justified in BILLING me for damage; I say that he, like any other proprietor, can bill for what he deems fairIt is then up to the consumer to decide what he will agree to pay, and perhaps, come to an amiable resolution with said proprietorAt no point during this process should the proprietor CHARGE the contested amount without obtaining authorization beforehandI posit that such an action constitutes fraud and theftIn this particular case, I repudiate his claim that my employee was at fault and I would like the opportunity to defend this positionI was denied this right by his egregious malevolence When I originally confronted the proprietor, he conceded that one of his employees charged me without his knowledge and that they should not have done soHe refused to give a refund, however, and this is why I contacted the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted]

The customer filing the complaint damaged a backhoe beyond wear and tear He damaged and bent a complete outrigger assembly, including a hydraulic cylinder and ram He also bent the frame and all connecting parts associated with this outrigger He stated that one of his hands was operating it when it happened and was not sure what he did to damage it I informed him that we would come look at it Upon arriving at the job site, my mechanic and I observed an outrigger assembly bent at approximately a degree angle This required a new cylinder and fabrication work on the frame This is what the customer was billed for This does not fall under wear and tear This is considered abuse and is the sole responsibility of the customer, per the contract The backhoe that the customer referred to as old is a John Deere 310K with less than hours It is by no means an old backhoe and has all up to date service and maintenance records In addition, the customer has an outstanding balance for the last month of rental Customer refuses to pay this outstanding balance and will be placed with a collection agency

hands was operating it when it happened and was not sure what he did to damage it.  I informed him that we would come look at it.  Upon arriving at the job site, my mechanic and I observed an outrigger assembly bent at approximately a 20 degree angle.  This required a new cylinder and fabrication work on the frame.  This is what the customer was billed for.  This does not fall under normal wear and tear.  This is considered abuse and is the sole responsibility of the customer, per the contract.  The backhoe that the customer referred to as old is a 2013 John Deere 310K with less than 1000 hours.  It is by no means an old backhoe and has all up to date service and maintenance records.  In addition, the customer has an outstanding balance for the last month of rental.  Customer refuses to pay this outstanding balance and will be placed with a collection agency.
