Review: I receive Social Security Death benefits for the death of my last husband for my children. I changed the direct deposit information with them. Accidentally, they sent the money to my old account with Cashzone. I previously had CANCELLED my debit card account with them because of unsatisfactory practices with in their business. They would charge $1 or more no matter HOW I used the card whether it be paying a bill, using the ATM or using it to go shopping, not to mention the "maintenance fees" they charged several times a month. When I alerted them to the problem, as social security told me I should do, to ask them to send back the money to the treasury so that they can put it on my new card with another company, they gave me the run around and said they couldnt refund the money and said that in order to GET said money, Id need to get another card from them and withdrawal the money from my account. They basically are charging me $44 to send me another card so that I can get the money that the government gives me for my husbands death so that I can take care of our children. After several attempts at telling them I dont WANT another card because I was unhappy with them and their services, and telling them that I need them to send the money BACK Not only do they overcharge for convenience fees, atm fees, usage fees etc, they are holding government money hostage so that I have to get another card with them. I cant even go into all the issues that ive had with them while I was with them as a customer. Now that I have left their services, they are committing embezzelment. Charging me because I want to leave them for their shady practices. This is just the latest issues and I want to file a complaint because they are a corrupt and terribly bad company.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund all the money that I have ever paid them in their "fees" for the pain and suffering that they have caused. With all the money theyve taken in fees and all, it easily could be close to $12,000 in fees EASILY...At $200 a month in fees times 5 yrs, thats money I could have used taking care of my babies.
