DO NOT use this contractor. He failed to perform the work promised that we paid for. Would not return calls. Ignored us. We have given him the opportunity to make it right and he has not. We found Cason on [redacted] We were given an estimate and agreed upon the work, price & time. We are in the process of a refinance and needed two areas of repair done on our garage roof. With time being of the essence, we went with Cason as apposed to two other contractors we called. Cason did not show up on the day they promised. After two days and several attempts to contact them I called and cancelled. They miraculously showed up anyway the next morning. Ill prepared and a mess is all I'll say about the two unprofessional people that showed up. Since they were there, we went with it. They disappeared for hours and then returned. They did a good job on one side of the roof, but the other side they did not do the repair, they simply tacked a couple of shingles on top of existing ones. We didn't realize this because you would have had to climb into the attic to see. We did see however that they tore and bent the metal overhang by our front door and were going to leave it. We pointed it out to them and he did a half way caulk repair. It looks terrible and I do not have much faith in it holding. We failed our inspection! Which will cost us an additional $50 for the re-inspection once it's fixed. We have tried repeatedly to contact them to come and perform the work they were paid for. We have only been able to get one response from them saying he would do whatever it takes to make it right. Hardly! IF Mr Cason WOULD HONOR his work commitment and do the repair immediately WE WOULD BE WILLING TO NOT TAKE THIS ANY FURTHER. Otherwise we will be shelling out more money to another contractor to get it done correctly within a strict time restraint due to the re-fi. In addition to filing complaints here we will also file with [redacted], Dept. of Buss & Proff. Regulations and take them to small claims court. It is a matter of doing the right thing! They do not!! Mr. Cason, either correct this or pay damages in every manner available to me, including reviews & legal action. I hope this review will help prevent you from harming others. I only wish I had done a little more research before hiring you and found the previous complaints and that others are planning to take you to small claims court.
Cason roofing has worked on four roofs for me in the last 3 months. After a old friend of mine ( who has done all my roofs and fell ill) refereed me to him, I read the negative reviews of the company on the Revdex.com site. With some concern I let him do a small repair. The contractor who started the job would not get a final inspection. Cason came in and finished the roof and had it passed. After that he has done three complete reroof on the rental property's, one being a two story. I haven't had the first issue with the company. The work was done in a timely manner and at one of the lowest cost I could find.
NEVER WORK WITH [redacted]. HE IS A CON-ARTIST. He lead us to believe he was going to perform a reroof, collected a 50% down deposit, and proceeded to con us by claiming he was going to do the work the next day or the next week. He even got a permit, but I fully believe he had no intention of doing the work. He is a professional thief, and we are taking our case to small claims court.
