Mr. [redacted] picked up his snow thrower on 11/29.17. We performed a full annual service, including replacing the carburetor, primer bulb, skid shoes adjusting his belts, changing engine oil and lubricated the chassis. Mr. [redacted] called us, and I the owner [redacted] took the call, he claimed that there...

was no fuel in the unit and the spark plug was not replaced. I explained to Mr. [redacted] due to the expense of ethanol free fuel and reducing the expense to the customer, we only put one quart in the system. He insisted that we did not put fuel in the engine. I went on to explain that we cannot install a new carburetor and service the engine without adding fuel. He was very angry and was notiecabley agitated, so I asked him to please come to the store and I would be happy to give him another quart of fuel and a spark plug for free. When Mr. [redacted] came to the store I informed my staff that I wanted to be notified so that I may wait on him. He continued to express his dissatisfaction, I assured him that we guarantee our work for the entire winter season. Mr. [redacted] left still unsatisfied. He returned on 12/12/17 and stated he had a fuel leak. We immediately took the unit into the service department while he waited. We found no failures, we ran the unit with Mr. [redacted] and showed him all the new parts that were replaced. I explained that some times during transport if the fuel is not turned off the carburetor could leak from tipping the unit in and out of his vehicle, he still was not satisfied. He returned to the showroom counter where he started from the beginning with his disappointment. Due to the high level of his voice and disruptive behavior in my showroom, I calmly asked for his credit card and refunded the full amount of his invoice. That same day he slandered us with extreme vulgarity on [redacted] and [redacted] reviews. I responded to those as well, however did not receive any future comments. I am made aware now that I missed the $35 estimate fee/deposit that he paid,  I will gladly refund that as well. We pride ourselves in the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of work. We service 300 to 400 snow throwers per year, I have never encountered this much extreme dissatisfaction in my 42 years of business. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to express our position in this matter, and appreciate the prompt correspondence from the Revdex.com.Thank you, [redacted]
