Her car has been here one time, 10/13/16. The sonar heads were warped beyond repair and could not be used. They declined the repair to be made. She has authorized removal of the cylinder heads. The leak test and compression tests were done on it. We removed the spark...
plugs and did all the diagnostic time for the head gaskets. When we went so far with all these tests, it takes approximately 5.6 hours of labor, which is what she was billed. Had she said she didn’t want to proceed, we would have stopped. It is a waste of time and money to keep doing these tests if the customer does not want to proceed, but she authorized us to do it. We have a strict rule that the customer must approve charges before we go further on repairs.
