We moved into one of their places about a year and a half ago and the place was in horrible condition at move in. The place was dirty, things didn’t work (stove,shower,etc). The deposit was $2675 and at the move out they tried to bill us for $45 on top of that. I’ve rented 8 places before this and got most of my deposit back everytime until this time.
Here are some of the things that we got charged for(none of which were caused by us)
1. Touch up paint -$926. I found scotch tape on the walls at move in that was still clear(not painted over) from the previous tennants and we did nothing to the walls
2. Loose fence board - $90 (to nail a fence board back in that we didn’t break)
3. 4 light bulbs were out - $45 (we had to buy light bulbs at move in because there were so many out)
4. Window screen replacement - $210 (all were damaged at move in)
For my sake (writer) and your sake (listener) I will stop there but we’re were charged for numerous things that we didn’t do.
I tried to email them about it and haven’t even gotten a response.
Avoid this company at all costs!
