We have a work order to go back and remove the limb. She is correct that it is on the original work order, but was somehow missed by the tree crew at that time.  We apologize for the delay, but have been very busy in the height of our season.  This should be done in the very near future.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Cassity tree service did show up on July 8th at 2:25pm and cut down another 2 small branches from tree. I had already left for work and they spoke with my 13 yr. old son  who really had no idea what to tell them. The lowest limb overhanging house that we agreed upon that needed to be cut down is still there minus two small branches. They were done setting up, cutting, cleaning and packing up by 2:55. I am very disappointed that [redacted]. never showed up to give them guidance on what limb we agreed upon that needed to be cut down. I don't believe the two small branches are going to satisfy my insurance company. And what was done was definitely not what I hired them to do. I agreed to pay to have a large limb removed and it hasn't been. Although they did manage to send out a bill that I received on the 13th of July. Time is running out and the bill will not be paid until the insurance company is satisfied. More pictures have been taken. I would not recommend Cassity tree service to anyone. This has really put me on the spot. [redacted]. should have come out to check that the work was done per our contract. And no one ever checked back.

Obviously, [redacted] will need to address the situation personally.  He sold the job and had the discussion with the client.  We are making an honest attempt to please this client and certainly do not desire to keep returning as this is a losing proposition for us.  I don't know who said what, and if she is correct, it will get done.  We are a company of 38 years with an excellent reputation and don't cheat anyone.  We also, don't appreciate a client that would rather make a public outcry than simply and most efficiently deal with us directly.  As I stated before, we had a work order to return to this property from the very day she called .  We would likewise prefer to not have this client in the future.

Review: [redacted] Tree Service Charged extremely high billing for tree service. [redacted] (Sales Manager) refused to provide a written quote for services. Would not itemize costs until requested. Did not provide accurate breakdown of costs. Charged for time and materials but never provided any rate. Charged a substantial contractors fee that was never described in initial agreement. Failed to provide service in a timely manner. Left work unfinished, shoving wood and debris to the back of our lot, making future removal more difficult. Charges usurious interest rates that were never specified in any signed agreement. Caused a delay in our project due to incompetant management in scheduling their own crews.Desired Settlement: 1) Fair market based price for actual services compared to other [redacted] Customers, cost of equipment, and going labor rates.

2) Compensation for lack of completion of work requested.

3) Compensation for added expenses to me and my family for delay of our home construction project.

Dear B.B.B.,

[redacted] allegations are highly erroneous. He never requested an estimate. In fact we have 2 signed time and material proposals for all the work we performed. All work was completed per specifications laid out between our salesman, the home builder/general contractor and the Home Owners Assoc. with regular communication to the Haupt's. Any substantial delays in timing were the direct result of the H.O.A. rules, slow payment of 1st service and Haupt's request to haul out logs as a last minute request. He is fully aware of this situation. Our rates are the same for any time and materials work request, whether it is a contract with S.C. Johnson, a municipality or the Haupt's. Furthermore we never recieved a single complaint about the 1st invoice for the initial prep work that the Haupt's finally paid 21 days late past 30 days. Nor, in the next 30 days following the completion of the fianl phase of the work (now at 46 days). It appears that the Haupt's biggest issue is paying their bills on time. We have no desire to negotiate with the Haupts, and in fact they will go to collections on November 20.
