I think that dr. [redacted] has been a very good dr. I have had him for over 20 years as a family dr. And I trust him and his wife as perfessonal doctors. And I will see him as long as I can.

Let me start by saying the doctor was great, BUT I will never go back I called for a prescription refill just as the doctor had told me to do when it was needed It's an over the counter heartburn medication, just a lot cheaper if I get is as a prescriptionThe person that answered the phone said that I had to come in I said I didn't want to pay a $office visit for a $prescription, so let's schedule the visit as my annual wellness checkupFineI go in and see the doctor and she asks why I'm thereI say I scheduled it as a wellness checkup, but in reality I just need a refillShe says, "OK, we will go ahead and get blood work etc." This was fine with me, I had never done it beforeShe does routine heart and blood pressure and sent me on my wayI'm a little confused that more wasn't done as a checkup, but I don't really care and go to the front deskI'm expecting them to tell me about scheduling blood work or something, but they don't and tell me am free to go Later I get an email saying my billing statement is available on lineThey want to do everything paperless and use online patient portalI read the billing statement and reply through the portal that is was supposed to be a wellness checkupI hear nothing backFollowing month I get another email exactly the same as firstI send another message asking if anyone reads these messagesNo responseThe following month again the same thing and I call the office I'm basically yelled at on the phone and told that I wanted three months to contact them and it was my problem and that I owed the moneyI was upset and yes the conversation got tense and eventually the lady hung up on meMost unprofessional experience I've had in the medical fieldAnyway, here we are many months later and I'm still told that they didn't do a wellness check therefore it can't be billed as such and I owe the moneyUnbelievable

Loved my doctor--can't stand any of the other staff I have been a patient for years and not only are the staff not helpful, they can't even bring themselves to be polite I work in customer service and I understand that people can have a bad day but I have had about experiences with this staff and every one of the these experiences involved their staff being down right rude for no reason other than they had to do their job I will admit that the only reason I haven't left before now is due to the fact that I am rarely sick and didn't feel like it was worth switching doctors for as rarely as I have to deal with it But today was the last straw as I tried to schedule an appointment and after she snidely told me that I haven't been to see them for over a year (to which I replied that I had to go to a specialist they had referred me to) said that I would need to wait weeks to recieve a shot A SHOT!
GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE

Since the beginning of 2015, this practice has literally gone to the dogs My husband, myself, two of my daughters and two of my sons have left the practice since Dr*** retired Dr*** replacement, DrStephen *** does NOT listen to his patients - he literally blew me off when I asked to have a blood draw because I have a history of anemia/intestinal bleeding Even after I told him WHY I needed to have it done, he did not do it A few weeks later I was admitted to the hospital by another doctor with a hemoglobin of I needed four units of blood and iron infusions Also beginning with the year it took over weeks to get some of our prescriptions filled Every time I called in I got a different excuse as to why it was not filled yet I finally had to call the Providence Group office (oversees all the Providence practices) and was told some of the drugs were "controlled substances" and could not be ordered via phone or fax to the pharmacy I called three major pharmacy's and was told that was not the case - I also talked to my daughter-in-law who is a doctor at Nationwide Children's in Columbus ALL of them said this was a bunch of baloney My husband went without several of his heart meds for weeks because of this crap Dr*** was his physician at this practice Will NEVER recommend this office to anyone! Office manager hung up on me during one of my calls because I told her they need to get their crap together She said she "doesn't need to listen to people 'swearing' to her" and she hung up
