Upon receiving this complaint, we reviewed the account in question and found that the account associated with [redacted] had a membership which has since been fully refunded [redacted] ’s son joined Audible by signing up for a 30-Day Free Trial on November 22, Our 30-Day Free Trial membership plan is available as a special offer to new customersOnce the 30-Day trial period is over, the membership fee of $is then charged thereafterIf the membership is not cancelled, the membership renews monthly and the credit card that is provided by the customer when they enroll is charged the appropriate fee each monthThe terms applicable to the membership were made available to them at the time they enrolled and are also available at www.audible.com/conditions-of-useThey did not make any additional purchases over the course of the membershipOur record indicate they received the remaining months refund on December 21stAs the account associated with the credit card at issue in the complaint was cancelled, the credit card will not be charged any further membership fees by AudibleThank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe strive to provide our customers with excellent customer service, and to resolve any complaints to our customer’s satisfaction

We went to the internet to find the company and a phone numberAfter several hours of searching and finding other complaints we made contact with customer serviceThe first call to them and the call did not get the cards credited by the representativeWhile discussing, the call was disconnected from Audibles endMy wife called customer service back and asked them to credit the account as she did not request the serviceA new representative talked with a supervisorThey agreed there was no use of the services which collaborated she never requested or ordered this serviceThe charges were credited to the first card and later to the second card which should have never been accessedWe cancelled those credit cards and her account and will not use *** which is were this may have originatedI was contacted by the business via email and responded to there email to let them know the matter seems to be handled to our satisfaction at this timeAfter I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

I am responding to complaint # ***The information that Mrs*** has listed is correctShe has contacted me, and we have discussed her concernsI also have stated, twice, that my company would address the issue when we had a crew in the areaMrs*** concern is an exterior only
concern and does not pose any threat to her home, both from an efficiency point and a safety pointWhen I spoke with her, I stated I would have a crew come by "when in the area"We have not yet had another job "in the area" so they have not yet been by thereI did not respond to the last few phone calls to Mrs***, because her calls were nothing more than "threats" as she stated she was going to lodge a complaint, ectI said I would take care of this, and I willThe job was done six years ago, and technically, my work is not the concernAlso, technically, the exterior wrap on the windows is "not" covered under the lifetime warranty, however, I was still willing to address and correct it at no chargeThe lifetime warranty provided to her is for the windows themselves. In closing, I will say again that I will have a crew go by her home and address the needsI will go ahead and arrange for this to be done sooner than later considering the lack of trust shown here, toward me, by Mrs***. We were unable to find any accounts with an active membership using an AMEX card under her accountWe believe her card may be compromised and someone is using it without her knowledge or consentWe sent Bonnie Smith an email and will work with her to find which account is using her card so we can

They did not make any additional purchases over the course of the membership. Our record indicate they received the remaining months refund on December 21st. As the account associated with the credit card at issue in the complaint was cancelled, the credit card will not be charged any further membership fees by Audible. Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention.
