To whom it may correspond, [redacted] and I have a verbal agreement on the service, when first started the service in September. It was $50 dollars a week for general maintence in the front yard, weekly. We also sprayed the weeds for...

free in the back yard. In October, we had a conversation for relocated the small fence next to the garage, painting all fences front and back, installing the back yard sprinklers and reseeding the lawn. The reason to the was because he was tired of all the dust going to his house. I made it real clear, in front of my two employees, that we are so late into the winter and the only seeds that would grow are the winter seeds. There would have to be a common Bermuda reseeding grass in April or May due to the temperatures; so his son could play baseball on permanent grass. Therefore, this was the verbal agreement we had in October. Starting in November additional $25 was added weekly with the general maintenance for the landscaping in the back. Each week was $50 for the front and $25 for the back for a total amount of $75 weekly. I don't understand why he forgot things if he's a educated business man. He tried to lie and take advantage of my business by taking my money, knowing how hard we put in work; I never expected that from him. All my bills and statements are clear about all the payments he did. The only resolution I have for him, he can use my money, that he hasn't paid for the rest of the last two months services, to reseed the lawn. (Bermuda seed is very easy to grow in the summer). Thank you for you cooperation and I hope he can analysis thing like the professional he is.
We started working for [redacted] in September.
For removing and relocating the fences next to the garage door, labor is only included for $200. For painting all the fences, front and back, labor is only included with 9 hours of work from two employees for $450.
For installing sprinklers system timer, main gate valve, in the backyard; labor and all materials included for $2,100.
For the three weeks of yard service on the front yard only for $150. All this work was paid with check #8004 on September 28, 2015 of $2,990.
For 10 yards of humus, 8 yards that covered for all the flower beds in the front yard and 2 yards that covered the new reseed lawn area in the back yard for $450.
For reseeding the new lawn in the new landscaping area; seed, fertilizer and labor for $400. Note: We specified that we are in winter and we would reseed the grass with winter grass seeds, which we do every third week of October during cold temperatures. He expected the Berrnuda grass to grow so his son could play baseball on the grass during the winter, but the Bermuda grass only grows during 85 degrees and higher.
For spraying 8 yards of humus on the front yard flower beds, labor included only for $300. For only 4 weeks of yard service on the front yard and spray free on the back for the weeds for $200. All this work was paid with check #8009 on October 5, 2015 of 51,350.
For 5 weeks of yard service and for fixing the broken sprinklers on the front yard for $270. This check was for October yard service. All this work was paid with check #6142 on November 5, 2015 of $270.
For the lawn service on the front and back yard. This check was for November yard service for $310. All this work was paid with check #6160 on December 4, 2015 of S310.
For 4 weeks of lawn service on the front and back yard of $75 dollars a week for $300. This check was for December yard service. All this work was paid with check #6188 on January 14, 2016 for $300.
For the lawn service on the front and back yard of $75 dollars a week for $300. This check was for January yard service. All this work was paid with check #6207 on February 19, 2016 for $300.
For 4 weeks of lawn service on the front and back yard of $75 dollars a week for $300. This check was for February yard service. All this work was paid with check #6230 on March 17, 2016 for $300.
For 4 weeks of lawn service on the front and back yard of $75 dollars a week for $300, This check only covered 2 weeks of March yard service, which still had a remaining balance of $120. Only 2 weeks of work was paid with check #6254 on April 28, 2016 for $180.
For 5 weeks of lawn service of the front and back yard of $75 dollars a week for $375. He only covered $90 dollars of the $375 for April yard service, which he still has a remaining balance of $285.
Check #6272 on May 19, 2016 for $90.
For 4 weeks of lawn service on the front and back yard $75 dollars a week for $300. We received no payment for the yard service of May.
Note: With this money that he still owe us, he got plenty of money to reseed his back lawn with Bermuda seeds. So why is he asking for something that doesn't make any sense in the service on the statements?
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/06/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

In response to [redacted] Services, I'm not sure why it was necessary to address in detail all the services provided that do not address my specific complaint? [redacted] response is pretty typical to how he does not address issues but provides plenty of excuses for his inaction. Yes, a verbal agreement was reached in regards to providing lawn care service & maintance, which included weed abatement. The additional services mentioned by [redacted] Services were paid in full, i.e.: relocating small fence & painting fence.
However, my issue was and still is the installation of the rear yard sprinklers, lawn, and upkeep and maintance of front yard. In [redacted] Services response, he indicated that he told me, "he was putting down winter seeds", and "the yard would need to be re-seeded in April or May". This statement was untrue, I did speak with [redacted] Services regarding the installation of a yard so my son could practice baseball in the spring & summer months. I was aware that due to the climate in this area, that would not be possible in the winter months. In fact, [redacted] Services never mentioned anything about re-seeding the rear yard until my wife questioned him a couple times in early May as to why the grass was dying?

[redacted] response to her was "the yard would die because it was winter grass and it would need to be re-seeded". He also indicated at that time it would cost approximately $250.00 dollars additional to re-seed the rear yard. Confused by his response, my wife asked [redacted] "why would we have paid to install a lawn that would die off?" At that point, my wife indicated to [redacted] that he would need to speak to me regarding the additional cost.
It should also be noted that during the periods of service that we employed [redacted] Services to maintain the rear & front yard, he was questioned on several occasions as to the poor shape & maintaining of the front & rear yards, (at least twice (2) a month). [redacted] response was they were always working on the issues that never seem to resolve itself, ex: spraying of chemicals for weeds.
My wife also asked [redacted] about the grassless border area along the rear patio, and [redacted] replied, "He would re-seed that area". At the time of service termination, he never performed the services after being asked several (7) times.
As a consumer who has paid for a service, I am highly offended by the tone of [redacted] reference to my level of education and essentially calling me a liar in his response! As an educated business man, I would not expect a "Revdex.com" certified business to resort to name calling & insults! This truly displays a lack of professionalism.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 19, 2016/07/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Per my last response the terms of this complaint are still valid. I owe this man or company no additional monies and I also possess records to validate my claim as well as the subject verbal agreement.
I'm still requesting the "Revdex.com" to send a representative to personally view the incompetent work that was conducted.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2016/07/20) */
Attention: [redacted] and Revdex.com Representative,
Based on the records I have of the bills and payment, as well as the verbal agreement, I will go off by. I never promised permanent grass, specially during the month of November, since it is not possible to grow in the winter. I will remain steady with the facts/proof I have for this situation. The statements I have shown the last couple months, were not fully paid. This is my final and remaining answer, if the records I have need to be shown for proof, I will do so.

This company made my yard look beautiful. They prune my 2 palm trees, cut my grass nice and short, cleaned out my flower beds and planted more flowers and also did a nice pond in my back yard. I'm glad, my brother told me about this company, I recommend everyone to give Abel a call, his prices are great!
