CASTILLO ROOFING

In early March, I called Justin Castillo Roofing to replace my kitchen subfloor and flooring at my beach house. He was unavailable but recommended Jose Juan Guzman-Mendez. After meeting with Jose, he was hired. He replaced the subfloors and flooring, including the shelf under the kitchen sink. Since I live out of town, the water was not turned back on until May. When it was turned on, water began gushing out on the driveway where the subflooring was done. A plumber was called immediately. It turns out Jose put a nail through a pipe releasing a monsoon of water under the subfloor and under the kitchen shelf. It cost over $550 to replace the pipe and tighten the valves under the kitchen shelf. Now the kitchen shelf, subfloors and the flooring are soaking wet. The is where Mr. Castillo is an unprofessional business owner. I texted him asking him for Jose's phone number because I couldn't locate it so I could talk to him about a resolution for the damages the leaks under the kitchen shelf and subflooring. He refused to give me the number and said he would not help me get in touch with him, even though this is an employee he recommended for the job. I eventually was able to find Jose Guzman-Mendez phone number, and we could not come up with a satisfactory resolution which means I will have to take him to small claims court to pay for plumber cost, wet subfloors, wet flooring and wet kitchen shelf. It's a shame that Mr. Castillo would rather cover for an employee than to help a customer resolve for the incompetence and carelessness of an employee. If I could give Castillo Roofing a "zero" rating I would.

We had our roof re shingled by Castillo Roofing and they did a very good job. I really like the Duration series and would recommend them to any one for there roof. Chad and his crew were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves very well.

We just moved into the area and found a local professional to do some difficult landscaping *** was excellent He made suggestions that saved us money and improved the final product We're having more work done by Cammidge Bobcat In a few weeks time He built an inexpensive retaining wall that went through some brutal weather this winter with absolutely no adverse effects This Spring, Rod is tackling drainage issues for me and working around a deck construction to ensure I have the correct foundation I would recommend Cammidge to anyone looking for personal, reasonable price, flexible service
