I was nearly scammed by these charlatans, and I am writing this review to try to prevent others from being scammed by this company as well. They used the same lies and misleading information to get me to subscribe to their website and submit to castings. They have also used this Kohl's model print ad scam to bait me into subscribing to their useless casting site just like they did others. Now I am a good-looking guy and experienced actor and model, and I immediately submit to numerous castings on their site as soon as I first subscribed, and they even told me themselves that they have submitted me for other jobs as well. When several weeks went by and not even as much as one word from a casting director, I started to believe that something was amiss. I would contact the agents and they would repeatedly tell me that "things take time", perhaps to try to cover up their scam and keep taking money from my credit card account. I do agree with that statement to some extent, but I have been in the acting profession long enough to know that if a casting director was genuinely interested in me they would have contacted me right away even if their projects were many weeks or even months away from getting started. When I saw the nature of the complaints about this company on the Revdex.com site and did more research about Kohl's modeling jobs, that's when I realized that I had been misled by this company. This company also uses video testimonials on their website to promote their company, and most likely these videos were made to try to deceive people that their casting company is legit when truth is they are really not.
Fortunately, I was able to get a full refund of all money that was used to subscribe to their worthless casting site after threatening legal action and disputing the charges with PayPal.

Refund of $25 was issued back to customer on 12-5-14

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I have been charged again after cancelling my account. I wouldn't recommend this crappy site to ANYONE! they don't even list a phone number on their site. Then they charge you on the weekend when no one is even available. 0 out of ten for customer service

I am rejecting this response because:I want the $850.00 I was guaranteed. I didn't take a local seasonal job because they tokd me I need to be available at all times. I was asked if they were accredited with the Revdex.com and they told me they were. I thought they were a trusted company and because of that I can't buy my son Christmas gifts. I ask they either provide the booking or they at least half the amount they guaranteed.

Customer was issued a refund of $24.95

Review: I responded to a few adds on [redacted] in Oct. 2014. They were casting calls for films/tv/modeling. One of those was supposedly a jeans company looking for models for a print ad. On Oct 31 I received a call from casting 247. A gentleman named Jonathan explained that they are actually a casting agency. He first asked about my availability, he wanted to know how committed I was to pursuing my acting career and if I'd be able to take the all of the jobs assigned to me. I told him I would (I never responded to a call from [redacted], I had applied for a seasonal position but with my first garaunteed gig, I figured I wouldn't need it). Jonathan explained that there is a monthly fee for their services which include contact with an agent who will help me to set up my profile for casting directors to view. I would also have access to many casting calls on their job board to submit myself for. This agent will also find matches that she herself would submit me for. Jonathan told me that the photos I sent with my [redacted] reply, he took those and submitted me for a [redacted] jeans ad, the pay was $850.00. He told me that [redacted] had viewed my photos as well as 15 others' photos and that they liked my look and made it seem as though they had already chosen me, but he couldn't book the shoot until I paid the fee of $24.95. I spoke to Jonathan a few times, I asked if the company

accredited with the Revdex.com, he told me they were and had an A+ rating. I looked it up and thought I had confirmed it. I found out later that it was another casting agency by the same name. I thought it would be ok to not respond to the job at [redacted] because with this first gig and compensation of $850.00, I would be able to take care of my son's Christmas gifts. I spoke to Jonathan again and let him know I was putting the money for their monthly fee on a prepaid credit card and I was trying to hurry with it because I didn't want them to have to book someone else for the [redacted] ad. He told me not to worry because he had already taken care of it. He told me to contact him after I submitted the payment. I tried for a week and he wouldn't call back. It took about two weeks for an agent to finally contact me. Her name is Donna. I told her I had gotten my headshots done and was waiting for the prints. She told me to contact her when I got them. She told me she was still waiting to hear back from khols. I explained what Jonathan had told me about my already having it. She explained in a way I took to mean that I was correct but something about some confirmation process that had to go through her. I tried to call her again and all I got was an email. Its now Dec 5th. Its been a month and nothing they told me was true. Nobody ever contacted me to help me set up my profile or resume. I never got the gig and now because Jonathan told me it was a requirement to be open and available, I didn't take the local seasonal job.Desired Settlement: I want my $25.00 fee refunded and I want.....actually NEED the $850.00 gig I was guaranteed. If they cant do that, then I would like them to give me the full amount. I am completely stressed out. There's 3 weeks until Christmas and I don't have any money. I also don't have the seasonal job that could have helped me.
