Review: We first met a rep from Leisure Tech at the end of March 2013 at a Home Show at [redacted]. The rep, [redacted] came to our home finally in April for the purpose of giving us an estimate on a home improvement for our porch - to turn it into a 3 season room with window, screens, etc. We finalized the plan in May and made the first payment. The agreement was that the work would be completed by the end of August. He measured then and then another person came in July to measure. He told us that we didn't need a building permit but when we went to town hall we found out that we did. He provided an unacceptable form of insurance delaying the permit by at least 3 weeks. He wanted to deliver materials before the building inspector came to our house. We prevented this. After the building inspector came we had trouble getting him to commit to a start date. (Note: the building inspector told us that they have worked with Leisure Tech before leaving us to wonder why we were told by [redacted] that we didn't need a permit!) They did finally commence demolition of the old windows/screens on October [redacted], 2 months past the expected latest start date. Then he told us that he forgot to include in the plans submitted to the building department the stairs to the outside. There was delay while we waited for the inspector to come out again. They worked on the porch during the week of October [redacted]. They have not been back to complete the job and the clean up. They told us that we didn't need to have the building inspector come back out to inspect. We contacted him and yes, we do need him to come back out. Next week it will turn to November and we have not heard from them as to when they will finish the job. We are left having to hire someone to complete the ceiling, install the floor, repair the damage to the wall of the house that Leisure Tech caused, finish the stairs and do the clean up.Desired Settlement: Because they are unable to finish the job, have left us in jeopardy with the town building department, left us with the expense and hassle of finding someone to finish the work, we would like a refund. Please black list them so that no one else has to go through this agony.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Leisure Tech regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Additional information: the final building inspection failed because they did not install an ADA handrail on the stairs and they didn't submit the proper electrical paperwork on time. This delay took 3 additional weeks to resolve.They left the ceiling and floor incomplete and we had to hire someone else to finish the work. It snowed that week and temperatures have dropped so we are unable at this time to enjoy our new porch. This company lacks significantly in communication skills!! They also do not take pride in their work and delivering a finished product.Sincerely,[redacted]

We were unable to respond within the 14 day period of date on this letter due to us not physically receiving it until the last week of November. The letter was addressed and originally sent to an address our business has not been located at for over six years. The [redacted]'s had met a Leisure Tech Representative the first weekend of April, 2013 at The [redacted] Home Show in La Grange. Our Representative, [redacted] visited the [redacted]'s on approximately April **, 201 3 and gave them an estimate to turn their porch into a three season room with windows and screens. The [redacted]'s needed to arrange financing, therefore paperwork was not finalized and signed until May **, 201 3 when their finances were in order. [redacted] admits that he made a mistake with informing the [redacted]'s that they did not need a building permit to replace the old windows.

Typically, when a complete sun room with a new roof and base is installed, a building permit needs to be applied for b ut he was not aware that for just replacing the windows a permit was needed. Leisure Tech has done a lot of work in [redacted] and we have a strong working relationship with the town Building Inspector who even agreed that it was a grey area but he would feel more comfortable if we obtained a building permit anyway. The [redacted]'s are correct by stating that we did not have a drawing for the new landing however, we met with the Building Inspector on site and it did not delay the job one bit. The delay of their building permit was not insurance form related but was partly due to [redacted]'s work schedule and how far he has to commute, it was hard for him to coordinate dates where he could be to [redacted] town hall before they closed. He also had trouble finding his survey, which [redacted] has text messages supporting that documentation. On September **, 2013 [redacted] had sent [redacted] a text message that an original survey was being mailed to him. On September **, 2013 all foms and documentation were delivered to [redacted] Town Hall, the following Thursday (September **, 2013) a pre-site inspection was completed. On October *, 2013 the town informed [redacted] the permit would be ready on October *, 2013. Leisure Tech then began working on their sun room the following week. Leisure Tech had the product and would have completed the sun room in August if it was not for the delayed permit we didn't receive until October. [redacted] had been in constant contact with [redacted] from September *, 2013 up until recently with no indication that there were any issues or complaints. When Leisure Tech had received [redacted] letter we were all unaware of any complaints and were taken by surprise to see that she was unhappy with our work as it had never been brought to anyone's attention the entire time, even with constant contact between [redacted] and [redacted]. There are a few things that are not addressed in the [redacted] letter because the complaint was submitted before certain timelines such as; Leisure Tech completed the clean up, received an electrical inspection and a certificate of occupancy. Also, [redacted] informed [redacted] that they had a financial bind and asked if we would continue to work with him without payment, which we did. The original contract was $20, 160.00, which did not include any extras that [redacted] had hired Leisure Tech to execute after the completion of the sun room such as electric and sheet rock that totaled $2,800.00. Leisure Tech completed the job as per a conversation with [redacted], who also told on November **, 2013 that we-

would be paid--100% as soon that lie also told [redacted] he receiver November ** ,2013".

Not sure why [redacted]'s would contact Revdex.com before the contractor to advise of their issues??I will also suggest that before they make slanderous statements they should have their facts correctThe electrical work WAS installed to code. I have attached a copy of a NY Electrical Inspections certificateIf the [redacted]'s misplaced their copy we would be happy to furnish a copy to them.

We did not make slanderous remarks. We have had difficulty getting this business to respond to our complaint as you can see from the time line. A qualified and certified electrician has determined that the GFCI was not installed to code.
