contractor that uses many different lenders for their customer financing*** *** Products is not contractually obligated to finance any of their sales through Castle CreditHowever, in this case *** *** accepted our offer to finance Ms*** water treatment systemI have forwarded copies of the loan documents to Ms***
The contract was signed on 1/10/The terms and conditions of the loan were verified with Ms*** via her home phone on 1/27/This verification call is a required step taken before opening a new accountThis call was placed days after the contract was signed and days after the buyer's right to cancel had expiredWith Ms*** approval we established the loan and paid *** *** Products in full for her purchaseAdditionally, we sent a welcome letter which again reviewed the terms of the loanThis loan cannot be canceled at this time
By signing the contract Ms*** has given us a security interest in the product financedWe have opted to perfect our interest by filing a UCC-Financing StatementThis filing is common in the home improvement business and poses no problem whatsoever unless the intention was to sell the home without honoring the loan that improved the propertyThe UCC-will remain filed until the loan has been paid in full
Castle Credit does not have excessive complaints when compared to amount of business we financeIn fact, most finance companies have similar complaints filed by customers who simply do not want to pay or have other complaints that stem from buyer's remorseWe strive for excellent customer service and have many positive reviews
Unfortunately, the *** have ignored our countless phone messagesPrior to Ms*** calling us on 1/27/14, the last time we spoke to Ms*** was back on 5/18/when we provided her with a payoff balanceWe have had no contact with Ms*** or her family in years and monthsAs stated in her complaint she could have been more proactiveThe last payment received was back on 1/25/(years ago) The payoff figure provided by *** *** includes all the interest accrued to dateThe payments and interest have been applied in accordance with the agreement signed and this account has been reported accurately to the credit bureaus
*** is known in the industry for their dedication to customer satisfaction and have many happy and satisfied customers nationwideIf needed, service can be scheduled by calling *** *** at XXX-XXX-XXXX
Cancellation of the loan and removal of the system are not optionsHowever, please know that we are willing to work out a reasonable settlement with Ms***It is our hope that Ms*** will take advantage of our offer to work out a settlement so that she may move ahead with her mortgage modification

Dear Castle Credit Corpc/o *** ***: This is my second reply via the Revdex.com forumI am not a confrontational person but I feel the need to continue the communication in this manner because I do not want the Revdex.com to reflect that this situation was open and shutAt minimal, I am confident that the collection practices including but not limited to harassment, negative comments, threats, etcby your employees is illegalI am honest and from the beginning stated that there was more that I could and should have done to lessen this situation as a customerAs I write, I am reminded of the last call with your collections manager when she said and I quote "you are NOT a customer, you are a debtorYou don't want to pay your bills and you want to take it out on me but I will make sure that you get what's coming to you in court." That statement was made after your collections manager had stopped shouting at me over the phone and was recorded by my coworker who could not believe that she could hear someone so loud on the phone that I was holdingNever have you admitted or stated that any disciplinary actions had been addressed in regards to the collections tactics of your employees or companyIn response to your comment, please note that I am an adult and fully capable of speaking for myself, accepting unpleasant but professional collections calls without incidentAlso, there has not been any billing statements sent to my residence nor phone communications from Castle Credit Corpin the past few yearsYou even confirmed that I initiated the calls to Castle Credit Corpthree years ago and again this past monthAgain, I will say that not hearing from the unprofessional Castle Credit Corpcollections personnel had not been missedAfter my Revdex.com complaint, I was contacted by Mr*** of your legal department to discuss resolutions to this collection situationI greatly appreciate Mr***' professional mannerTo date, we have both put numbers on the table but have not come to acceptable solutionI will again make contact with Mr*** next weekThank you

I have used Castle Credit Corporation to finance a water filtration system for my home. All was great for the first few months I was making payments to this company. That was until the first time a "Laps in payment" was reported. I use quotation makes because there really was no laps, instead the company took my payment and did not apply it to my account. I made another payment to this company the same month to keep current and started to do some digging. After looking over some bill statements I found that I had paid a grand total of 2 and a half months of payments in the span of a single month. When I inquired as to the reason my account was credited with this mass over payment an "investigation" was opened. After several months the company simply told me, after pestering them for an answer, that I had paid into the wrong account [witch according to them, had a one digit difference from mine].
