Review: To Whom This May Concern:

The purpose of this letter is express my displeasure with Castle Motorsports and the way they conduct business. It has come to my knowledge that some unethical business practices have been going on, and personally have affected me, and I would like to bring this the forefront of the Revdex.com and receive some type of consideration/compensation for my issue.

On October 15, 2013, I took delivery of a [redacted] from Castle Motorsports, specifically, sales person [redacted]. We had test driven the car, recommended some minor work to be done, which was completed and we were satisfied. As we were going through the documentation and signing the paperwork, we also expressed our interest to purchase a warranty for the vehicle. [redacted] informed us that he had done his research of warranty companies and found that his company was better suited to the needs of a luxury car. The warranty company that was presented to us was “[redacted] Corporation.” [redacted] presented a brochure from this company to us and asked us to select the package we felt best suited our needs. We chose “T[redacted]” package and remitted a fee to [redacted] for the warranty coverage. We also asked for something in writing to document our purchase.

On October 16, 2013, [redacted] called my boyfriend, who was with me and instrumental in the purchasing of this vehicle, and informed us that the package we requested was actually NOT available for our type of vehicle and suggested that we could get the [redacted] with the [redacted]. This would be the same price as the package we requested and would work better for our vehicle. At this point, it become somewhat evident that [redacted] has a limited knowledge base as it concerns warranties, etc. As a sales person, who is the business of selling cars and products & services associated with them, you should know and understand the packages and warranties that are available to the specific vehicles you sell.

We agreed to this new package and again asked [redacted] to send us the documentation. [redacted] emailed me a one-pager that showed our selection of the warranty plan we chose and asked that we sign the document. We complied with his request and signed and dated the document (October 19, 2013) and returned this document to him.

Fast forward to the present time, we were in need of a repair to our vehicle and reached out to our warranty company. The company told us the repair was not covered by our policy as designated by page 2 of the contract we signed. At this point I was confused as I only saw a one page contract. I asked the warranty company to send me over the signed contract they had on file for our vehicle. When I received this fax, I was shocked to see that this was a 7-page contract AND the signature on the contract was not mine and the date was October 15, 2013. Also, the representative from [redacted] told me that they were shocked as to why this would happen, and that the dealer should have been able to answers about our warranty plan better. But after doing more research he realized that this was the very first contract that Castle Motor Sports had submitted or done business with [redacted] Castle Motorsports, #1 had failed to send over the entire contract for my reading and signature. Furthermore, on the bottom of page 1 of the contract where it designated page 1 out of 7, this had been omitted from the page I was sent and signed. Secondly, Castle Motorsports FORGED my signature on the contract that [redacted] received. This is evident through a few facts. First, its not my signature. Second, the signed copy [redacted] faxed me has a date of October 15th, I didn’t receive the contract for my signature until October 19th. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND INEXCUSABLE!!!

Upon my discovery of this, I contacted Castle Motorsports to bring this to their attention and ask them exactly how did this occur. I also asked for a refund of the money I paid for a warranty as I was unaware of the entire contract that was associated with this warranty. I spoke with [redacted], the same salesperson that sold me the car. Let me just the answer I received was full of malarkey. He first told me Castle Motorsports is no longer in business, they are now Castle Auto Finance. Then when I explained to him that my signature was forged and I wanted my money back as I didn’t sign a contract for that warranty, he said to me basically that wasn’t possible.

My issue is that I was not presented a full contract to sign nor did I have anyway of know there was additional requirements to the page I signed. Furthermore, the auto company forged my name on a document and presented to the warranty company as if I had signed it. FORGED!!! I have documented proof of everything I have mentioned in this letter, traceable by contracts, emails, faxes, etc.

I am asking for a full refund of the $1,895.00 I paid for a warranty, that #1 has not been used, and #2 I was not made know of the entire requirements and restrictions of. This was of no one’s fault but the Castle’s company & representatives. You can’t not present person’s with half facts and the to you own satisfaction forge their name on legal documents.

Again, I am very displeased by the treatment I have received from Castle & am asking for my money to be refunded as I was not the one who signed the contract for the warranty company.

I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] should you require additional information/details or request to see my supporting documentation.

Thanks!! [redacted]Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of the warranty policy I purchased as the full contract, restrictions and ramifications was not presented to me at the time of signature. The amount is $1,895.00

Review: Purchase a used vehicle under the terms "As Is" - Paid for tags through the dealership - but upon receipt of the tags it was noticed that the tags were only good for 1 month because it needed an [redacted] inspection. Took it to a local service station and was informed that it did not pass the test and asked about the "Service Engine" light - because it did not come on when starting the vehicle and it should of. Notified the dealer of the situation and was at first told that Stafford did not require emissions testing and not their problem. According to the State of VA any vehicle that resides/registered in Stafford has to pass emissions in order to get tags, yet they charged us for one year tags which means that they did not perform this test prior to the sale of the vehicle. I called them back once I found this out and they offered to help by letting us get some of the parts at cost (which the sensors were purchased and was replaced - this amount is not is the cost I am seeking)- We did that, but it all came down to two of the catalytic converters having to be replaced after the sensors were replaced . Made another call back and they said they would go to management to discuss it - came back that Management said it was a sale "As Is" and would not do anything - once again I pointed out that this test should have been performed when the inspection was done in order for tags to be valid for a year. I even called several dealerships to verify that this should have been done and talked to the State Police and mechanics. Called once again and asked if they would work with at least finding a shop up here that would help with a lower cost to fix - they never called me back - Took vehicle into a certified emissions station to get the work done - estimated cost 1,200.00 - called them once again and the salesperson (I do have a first name if needed) and told him about it - he said I was suppose to call him back - not true once again - so he asked what I was looking for - I told him that we have spent close to 2,000.00 on repair that should have not happen because they failed to do the test prior to sale and did not disclose the fact that they had not done it. I said at I was looking for at least half of what we have to shell out for their mistake of not doing the test. Once again he said he had to go back to management to talk to them and call me on Monday - Monday and Tuesday came no call. So I called again and he said that they were under New Management (second time he told me this) and Management would not cover the cost and it was not their problem. He offered to send a check for 125.00 (which he told me was his commission off the sale of the vehicle) I told him that was better than nothing. But upon receipt of the check from Castle Motors on the bottom it says" vehicle repair settlement".

- this is not a settlement - never did he say it was a settlement on their part (which to me means that they are in the wrong and they know it) . Bottom line is that this vehicle information was not disclosed and the test was not done in Stafford prior to the sell of the vehicle to me. No way would I have bought a vehicle with these kinds of issues - Dealership is responsible for all applicable tests to be done prior to the sell of their vehicles and funny how they got it to pass inspections with the issue of the Service Engine light not coming on. Also I was informed that the vehicle was a trade-in and they lowered the amount and he told me the amount which is a lot less than what we have had to get this vehicle fixed. Two emissions inspections charges, diagnostics tests and parts. They also informed me once it did pass the test to call them right away and they would get on-line and get the tags - problem is that you have to drive the vehicle so many miles before they can do the test - have not hit the mark yet - so hopefully it will pass the test and I will once again call them to get them to get me the tags I should have had back in Oct. And yest it took this long because I had to go back and forth with them and I had to come up with the money to get all this work done.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for repair of the catalytic convertors. Would even settle for half of the money we had to pay out

Review: Before buying an [redacted] I asked the salesperson if the car was involved in any accident and he said no. I asked if the car was clean and he answered yes.

He hided from me that the car was in an accident and that it was repaired. The car could be "clean" from a [redacted] report point of view, but the salesperson should have acted ethically and shouldn't have hidden the fact that the car was in an accident. I trusted his word, beyond any signed papers. What he did is not an honest way to do business.

When I tried to return the car, the salesperson said he didn't have an obligation to get it back. I tried to explain to him that given he didn't tell the true and hided things from me I didn't want to do business with Castle Group, I only do business with honest people, but he just laughed at my and my wife's face. Of course, after such a rude behavior, we got very upset and yelled at him, so he decided to call the police, instead of offering an apology to us customers.Desired Settlement: I want to take the car to a body shop in order to fix the damage it has and I want Castle Auto Group to pay for the repairs. I wouldn't let Castle Auto Group to take care of the repair as I don't trust them.
