Back in we offered to take a reduce amount for the outstanding charges which the resident declined She wanted the carpet charges totally removed.When our property manager walked the unit it smelled like pet urine, the carpets, pad and sub flooring were damaged due to pet urine
That is why the carpet had to be replaced The pictures that were sent to her were of her apartment The pet fee per the Pet Addendum that she signed is non refundable It is a fee to allow her to have a dog in the apartment it does not go to any damages that occur.The carpet was new upon Natasha moving in but we prorated the replacement cost based on the age of the carpet at time of moveout.I am still willing to settle for the $that was offered to her back in

Per their lease they knew of the repairs that needed to done to the apartment at the end of their lease Tv mounting bracket holes is what was mentioned to begin with not holes to pull wire through I have attached a copy of the page of the lease that references damages at time of move
out and pictures of the holes. These holes have to have drywall patches not just putty over So that is beyond the hole patching

I am not saying that I changed what he said The Property Manager states he did not say that I am just sorry that is not what you took from the conversation As I have previously stated the holes required drywall repair which you are responsible for the cost of This was property you rented not owned and any damage to it is your responsiblity to fix or pay to have fixed

We are sorry to hear that your experience with Morse Glen Apartments was not positive and we apologize for any confusion regarding the Rental fee you placed to be on our Waiting List We are consistent with each prospect filling out an application with the portion above the applicant’s signed signature noting the following; “If the applicant cancels the application at any time, the rental fee will be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages.” We believe there was a misunderstanding regarding a unit being held for you and we have refunded your Rental Fee of $250.00. We hope in the future you will reconsider living at a CASTO community!

Nothing about tv mounting bracket holes was ever discussed. We were specifically told anything smaller than your fist is fine! You can’t mount a tv without creating a space big enough to pull wires through. Being told by the apartment manager one thing, then having the narrative changed afterward is not fair. We acted on good faith based on what we were told we were allowed to do

So holes require drywall repair.....thank you, That's very informative!  The next time management tells me I can make holes a certain size and there will be no charge......I'll get that in writing.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. Even though the statement was INCORRECT.  I attached the email convo between myself and Glenchester Lake's reps here for others to review (the same and more emails, I forwarded to Ms. H[redacted]).  I responded his email immediately and asked him to cancel, re-book and re-cancel the next appointment due to the hospitalization of my child in [redacted].  The reason of my surrendering the credit card, VERBALLY to Sean B[redacted] because he asked for it, just to show that I gave a serious and well intention, which I did.  But again due to other urgent and immediate situation involved in my household, I stopped everything (including this).  Never once in the conversation, Sean stated that he'd charge my card for $250.  Thus with the refund, I 'm satisfied and I thank Revdex.com for the involvement.  I also thankful and appreciate CASTO Management for the cooperation.

Ms. [redacted] applied online for an apartment at our Glenchester Lakes complex.  I have attached the section of the online application which states our policy that the deposit would be applied to the unit if approved or forfeited if they cancel at anytime for liquidated damages for holding a unit...

off the market.  Ms. [redacted] is stating that she didn't give approval to run her credit card.  Why would she give the leasing agent her credit card number if not to run it to start the process.  We contacted her numerous times for 2 weeks trying to get her to come in and finish the paperwork.  We held off new applicants because she had applied and kept delaying coming in and signing the application.  I understand she had reasons for not coming in because of the health of a child.  Casto takes pride in how we run our business in a reputable manner.  In the spirit of good relationships we will be processing a refund to her credit card.
