Review: We purchased and paid in full for a dining room set and server on 2/18/13 which was delivered within the represented time. On 5/2/13, before delivery of the aforementioned we ordered a paid for a heat shield table pad recommended by the sales person. We were told it would be available for pick up within approximately 3 weeks. On or about July 8 2013 I called to determine the late status of the arrival of the "pad". I was then told, that the manufacturer had notified the retailer that the did not have a template for the table. We were told by [redacted], our salesperson that they should have a template as it was a standard size table. It too an addition week and a worker from the delivery area of the retailer came unequipped to properly measure for template. He was sent to our home after I spoke with the store manager, [redacted]. On 8/6/13 I called [redacted] because it appeared that the three weeks were told it would take to provide us with the top had elapsed. He appeared to feign ignorance and then said he recalled our earlier conversations and would call the factory on 8/6/123 and let me know the status on 8/7/13. We did not receive a call from him or anyone at the retail establishment today, 8/7/13 and when I called just prior to 5:00 pm, I was advised that no one was available and that I should leave a message, which I did.Desired Settlement: Receipt of total refund for monies paid and the store picking up the merchandise previously delivered.

Review: We ordered a table from “Casual dinning and bar stools” on Sep 1, 2014. After we brought the table back home, we found the two major beams underneath the table to support were both broken. We called the store and they agreed to order another one, after two weeks, they brought a new table top on Sep 20th, 2014; this time, the leaf part of the table is bowed, one leg is light yellow while the other is dark brown, there are wood putty patch in the legs as well. After 3 weeks waiting and two defective tables, we called the store and asked for a return. The sale guy alleged they will charge us 50% restocking fee if we return the defective table. We sent an email to sales manager to ask for a return, she responded saying the 3rd table is ordered from factory. We told them again we don’t want the 3rd table, we want return and get money back. In the meantime, we consulted a store manager in a nationwide furniture chain store and he told us he’s never heard a 50% restocking fee especially the return is due to the merchandise manufacturing defect, no one treats customers like this. So “Casual dinning and bar stools” punishes customers for their own manufacturing defect with a market unusual high restocking fee. We checked their website, they indicated no "restocking charge" for defective goods unless it's used (refer to shipping and returns session), 20% restocking fee for other reason returns; 2) the reason we have to return because they gave us multiple defective tables, the table we purchased is NOT a floor model. The store tortured victim customers both emotionally and financially, not to mention we don’t have a dining table for 3 weeks. Right now the defective table still sitting in our dining room(we didn't touch it). It is common the merchandise has defective products, but instead of facing it honestly, “Casual dinning” is trying hard to transfer the loss to their customers as much as possible, this is where the 50% unusual fee comes from.Desired Settlement: Full amount refund without restocking fee because the goods they sent us are defective for both times.

Customer was contacted by owner to discuss issues with table that was defective. Under our contract is stated replace or repair which is what we attempted to do with this customer. Customer came into showroom on Saturday to see if they could find a different table table and if it was more money we would offer a discount to make them happy. They were not satisfied so we have opted to take the table back and refund them in full..

Review: Just prior to my move overseas to Rota,

Spain with the US Navy on active duty orders for three years I came into

their store this past Memorial Day 2014 weekend and purchased a new Santa Fe BF

Nook Table, and Benches (x3) with Corner Seat for our

kitchen. I purchased this furniture just before our pack out of our house

from 3-6 June, 2014 so that we could set it up in our kitchen as soon as we

found a house here in Rota, Spain. We had our 17,000lbs of our

household goods delivered to our home in Sep. After much unpacking, I was finally

able to set up our new Santa Fe BF Nook Table, and Benches (x3) with Corner

Seat furniture set for our kitchen. When I was done putting all four items

out of the 4 boxes together, I realized that there was NO long bench but

instead there were two of the EXACT same short benches with no ability to

connect both benches with a corner seat. When I examined the boxes, I came

to realize that the warehouse had delivered two of the EXACT same boxes

when I picked up them up. However each box says specifically, 1 of 4, 2 or

4, 3 or 4 and 4 or 4 (I have photos of these boxes I took immediately after

assembling this set). Unfortunately, BOTH of these boxes are the EXACT same pieces of furniture

and they BOTH read 0230DC-BS, which I now realize means that they are BOTH

SHORT BENCHES. The result is two short

benches that sit on opposite sides of the table w/o an ability to connect.

I am now stationed here in Rota, Spain for the next 3 years but have a

personal mailing address at my command that is a United States Postal

Service (USPS) address.

I would like to know what to do at this point.......I would appreciate if they would send

the CORRECT box containing the LONG BENCH which is necessary to compliment

this kitchen furniture set. I have e-mailed them twice (with pictures) over the past 3 weeks with NO reply!!!Desired Settlement: I would like the correct box containing the LONG bench that is missing sent to me to allow me to finish assembling this furniture set.

I would like to take the time to respond to a few things before I address the inventory issue.

We at Casual Dining & Bar Stools take customer service very seriously so I am surprised to here from the customer that they have attempted several times to reach out to us. I have no records of calls or messages from the customer

and I can find no record of email on our site. It would a get help to find out who they have spoken to regarding their problem as well as what email address they used to contact us at.

As for the issue with wrong goods you stated you have pictures of the boxes so please send those directly to me at [redacted]@casualdine.com.

It is very possible that the manufacture sent us the wrong piece. We delivered the items on 05/31/14 in boxes part of a free drop off delivery in which you signed off on noting that the items would be in boxes and if there were issues with product you would have to bring it back to our warehouse for replacement or service.

Seeing as items were not checked prior to being shipped out of the country to insure all parts were there and items were free of defect and now are no longer in our local service area the only option for you is for us to order you the correct piece and have it available for pick up at our warehouse. Maybe you can arrange someone to pick up it at our warehouse and they can ship it out to you. We would normally ask for the wrong item back so that we can return it to factory for a credit but seeing you left the country I would waive that and you would not have to return that piece back to us.

It was noted the unit was not possible to assemble but it is possible to assemble the short bench to the corner piece as a temporary solution.

I will start the process of ordering the long bench and will need to know who would be picking up this piece once in.
