Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Respondent's material details are incorrectRecord transfer request did not occur until end JulyAlso matter if archiving and un-archiving record us exactly opposite of what staff claimed on the dates in questionWhich confirms the confusion that is reflected in numerous reviews of this businessAs a client who has paid a substantial sum for services at this clinic, one wonders why they would not mention AT TIME OF TRANSFER REQUEST that transfer of an active Rx would not be made so that refills could be completed firstHowever dr w [redacted] 's explanation is ridiculous since (1) they would have a record of the transfer and could decline refills (2) they said they could not access the record to issue a refill due apparently tobigus archiving (3) ? in fact they DID issue a transfer of the Rx when contacted by the receiving clinic (after I filed this complaint) ? so clearly they chose not to do so for punitive reasons ? this clinic perforned two failed surgeries on my dog both of which cost me a huge sum for emergency clinic intervention ? you'd think the courtesy of transferring a prescription would be done in consideration of those failures if not simply because it was in the animal's best interest ? thanks to [redacted] Clinic in Redmond for assisting me to obtain the medication ? they obviously put the pet's health first ? [redacted] ? Sincerely, [redacted]

Subject: complaint # [redacted] .? I have to say that dr w [redacted] 's reply to my reply to her reply to my complaint is very confusingNo idea who she means by "the owner" but sounds like someone else wrote it and got confused about who is who.? That notes made by her without my concurrence are any kind of validating record of anything is ridiculousIt's just one of two perspectives on the situationAn active prescription use for a long term treatment plan should certainly be included in medical records transferred to another practiceAfterall, I paid for the services that resulted in the RxShe has never contacted me to attempt resolution of any of these issues including the charge to replace a poor bandage with an equally inadequate bandage that would protect the surgical area from problems and eliminate the need for extensive visits to the emergency clinic.? Subject: Fwd: ID ***I'm receiving letters that seem to ignore this response from August 17th in response to the last letter I received from youPlease document this as my second and final response on this matter as this owner failed to follow instructions documented in her case and secondly, and her reponse claiming our desire to be all about money is false I had no reason other than legal liability of *** practice for the refill of medication The owner had already transferred records...how, in any way, is that about money? Her claim of failed surgery is documented below in my response. This, as stated above, is my final response Any rebuttal from owner should be closed as she does not have any reason to have her complaint publicly filedAll is documented in client's pet's medical file, WHICH SERVES AS A LEGAL MEDICAL REPORT.I would appreciate an email response from you at Revdex.com upon receipt of this email considering my previous email response was not acknowledged.DrDebora W***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: the vet/owner did not apologize She states that when her office charges twice for the same item, it is the client's responsibility to provide proof Unbelievable. Sincerely,
*** ***

Subject: ***To whom it may concern regarding the resolution of case #***,Client transferred pet's records around the end of June Upon transfer, all *** refill requests are inactivated for good reason--so as not to have incidence of double refills from more than one
practice This protocol is in following the general Drug Enforcement Agency cautions when controlled substances are prescribed and the protocol is extended to all medications in practice. When client called to have refill, staff had no immediate access to record and was retrieved from archive over the weekend...hence the reactivation of the chart when owner called back the next week All records are kept in storage according to medical code and when records are transferred, all records are archived and removed from active charts due to space restrictions in our practice The paper medical chart WAS in fact archived when the client called the first week. When pet was examined in December, the examination and medications were paid for and although prescriptions are allowed for a period of 6-months(depending on class of drug) following an exam and at the discretion of the prescribing veterinarian, there is no obligation on the part of our practice to extend prescriptions past the point of record transferThe client received all professional services and medications paid for at that time and nothing is owed to client at this time This complaint is a moot point as the rx has already been transferred to the new veterinarian.Respectfully submitted,DrDebora W***
