We are very sorry that she was unhappy with the services provided to her, however, Dr [redacted] our Veterinarian takes pride in having thorough communication with all of our clients in the exam roomWe would never perform services without a client verbally authorizing themAlso, when the Ms [redacted] was given her invoice total at her first visit, she had every right to decline doing the blood test since it had not yet been sent to the labIn each client/patient medical record a client signs our registration form and one of the things it states is that all clients can be provided with a written estimate for recommended services upon requestMs [redacted] signed one of these formsMs [redacted] never asked for an estimateWhen Dr [redacted] gives a treatment or test recommendation she always verbally gives a rough estimate of the cost and ask's the clients approvalIf they ask for an exact estimate, one is providedOn the visit where we provided a subcutaneous fluid training and did not first notify Ms [redacted] there would be a fee, we later refunded her money for that visit since we didn't let her know ahead of time there would be a charge I've provided a copy of the form Ms [redacted] signed explaining that she gave us consent to treat her cat by signing this formWe are not the type of business to perform services without notifying at least verballyI don't know what else to say to her or how to respond unfortunatelyWe can try to come up with a "simple" response but it's hard to do that and be thorough
