company. The Consumer received a payment from their insurer for services rendered by Cat Contracting. The Consumer wanted to keep that money for himself despite his contractual obligation to pay us. After discussing the matter with his insurance company and our attorney, the Consumer acknowledged that the money was owed. The Consumer paid the entire balance due on 9/30/14.
The history of the dispute is as follows:
Early September 2014, the Consumer's insurance company acknowledged they paid Consumer some monies earmarked to pay Cat Contracting for services rendered. This matter was placed into collections on 9/19/14. The Consumer was sent collection notices on 9/24/14. The Consumer filed the Revdex.com Complaint on 9/25/14 alleging (1) a failure to communicate and (2) that Cat Contracting placed a lien on Consumer's home. In fact, however, Consumer's first attempt to call Cat Contracting's attorney was on 9/26/14 at 12:35 pm. Cat Contracting did not file a lien until 9/29/14. On 9/29/14, the Consumer's insurance company confirmed the exact amount paid to Consumer and due to Cat Contracting. The amount due was $1,585.78. Cat Contracting's attorney returned the call from Consumer and was verbally accosted with obscenities and threats. Regardless, after discussion with the Consumer's wife about the insurance proceeds due to Cat Contracting, the Consumer acknowledged that they owed Cat Contracting $1,585.78. On 9/30/14, the consumer mailed payment in the full amount of the balance owed to Cat Contracting (see attached letter and check).

Cat Contracting takes Revdex.com complaints very seriously. This complaint was baseless, premature, and solely the result of the Consumer's dissatisfaction with the company's price and/or contract terms even though those terms were clear. The Consumer has since paid Cat Contracting in full. Respectfully, we request that this complaint be completely REMOVED from Cat Contracting's Revdex.com history.

The contractor seems to feel this was the problem to the leaking. As long as everything is taken care of, it should be fine.
