A support ticket was opened with the software provider to investigate the issue of the unapproved credits and after delayed responses from them they finally got back to us on Feb 5, saying that it was a bug to allow those credits but that something appeared to be adding them with automation software
Presently we are awaiting the fix from the software provider to cancel out all of those unauthorized credits to the account and keep them from happening going forward but the sites are not suspended at this time

While it has not been unsuspended since the 17th, I do appreciate the vendor's rapid response to my concerns, and I am satisfied with the use of my sites having been restored
