Review: CATC Inc. signed a contract and Coop Alteration Agreement with me for bathroom renovation. At that time, I paid $3166 initial payment. Despite repeated phone calls, texts and emails, and assurances from CATC, CATC was unable to produce required Insurance Certificate to Coop before start date of work. Day before start date, CATC intended to arrive to begin work. On start date CATC assured me that [they] were going to meet with [their] insurance agent that day and obtain certificate. I will not have phone contact with him because he was needlessly aggressive with me in our last phone call although I did nothing but ask to discuss my concerns about communication, and how to go forward with work. He has not responded to the email I sent on January **. I think it is pretty clear that he does not intend to move forward with this project, or return my $3166.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $3166 first payment. He also texted me the dates I needed to move into temporary housing. I did secure that housing and paid $1074, which cannot be refunded because they were unable to rent to someone else during that time.Total: $5240

Review: On 10-**-14 I signed a contract to renovate my bathroom. At that time I advised him he needed to produce proper license and insurance for co-op management office. He said it was not a problem, he had all the proper paperwork. We gave him a deposit of $6,250.00. The work was scheduled to be started on 12-*-14 and finished on 12-*-14. As of this date he still has not produced the proper paperwork. He tried to send insurance information to management office with a different contractor as the insured. He does not answer my phone calls or e-mails. Home Advisors Internet service contacted him on 12-*-14 and he said he would issue me a refund. No refund was ever issued and he still is sending improper paperwork to the management office. I have not had contact with him in weeks. I saw he had one complaint on file and I am having the exact same issue with this contractor. I did nothing wrong. We tried everything to help him produce the proper paperwork, but he could not. Please look into this.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $6,250.00 which is my deposit.
