I am rejecting this response because: First of all my vehicle was shifting well when I brought it in to CatsAt the time when I paid for my transaction I was told that yes we did a proper flush and replaced the linesi also asked if they did a filter changed and he told me no you do not have a filter only a wire mesh; which I though was a bit oddWhen I took my vehicle back to them he told me I lost my 2nd gear and that I came in on 4th gear(my car is only driveable in the second gear and will not go further into 3rd and 4th gear.) So I asked what do I doHe told me it's either have your transmission rebuilt or purchase a new onei asked what the cost was and he told me $4,for a rebuilt oneI told him I don't have that kind of moneyHe then advised me about bank loans and quick loansI then said ok so if I get this amount is your shop willing to repair and he said yes we willSo yesterday I called *** *** in Farmington and asked about the filter/ wire mesh that is located in my transmissionI was told yes your car does carry a filter and I was asked if Cats put in the right transmission fluidSince going to Cats I have had several places such as *** and ***'s and other Mechanics that Cats has had bad reviews within the past year since they have changed mechanicsIf I would have known this I would not have taken my vehicle thereI just would like my refund back Sorry for the late reply; I caught pneumonia and I just been resting at home

As I stated on the first response, we replaced her cooler lines and refilled the transaxle with the correct fluid for that vechicle.  When it left out shop, it was working good and by her own admition, she drove it back to Rock Point with no issues.
Her having driven it with low oil and shuddering probably caused the clutches to scortch and then driving home could have finished it off.
As for her statement that a mechanic that has been with us for one year worked on her vehicle, that is categoricaly not true, as the newest employee at cats has been with us for 4 years, and the mechanic that worked on her car has been with us for 27 years.  We pride ourselves in doing good work and our reputaion is above reproach.
We reject her claim that we caused any damage to her vehicle in any shape or form.

When Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in on 2-5-16, she was complaining of a jerking and schattering feel on the vehicle. She wanted it serviced.  We found that she had a bad leak on her cooler lines and that the transmission was low on fluid, and this was the reason for the slip/chatter...

condition. She agreed and had us replace the lines.
When the work was finished we test drove the car and it was working good.
On monday I spoke with her and she said that it had "worked good going home" to Rock Point, but later that day, it would no longer shift.  I asked her to bring it back and we would check the vehicle for her.  Subsequent test showed that she had lost 2nd gear and that it would need to be rebuilt.
I informed her of this and the cost for the repair. At no point did I tell her to get hew own transmission.  She unfortunately had damaged the transmission by driving it arround with low oil and there was no alternative to patch such damage, the vehicle has over 151,000 miles on the transmission and with the slipping that had taken place damage had been done.
