Catzablanca Cat Hospital

Review: I dropped my cat off to be groomed at this establishment. After waiting 4 hours and 30 minutes I finally received a call to come pick my cat up. Once I arrived there, I realized that my cat had not groomed at all, and no service whatsoever, was provided. But yet they insisted I pay them $49.00 anyway. I had no choice, I was told, but to pay them this $49.00, or I would not be able to take my animal back home. I am a disabled person, and they took advantage of that. Due to my disability I cannot speak that well, therefore, I had my sister call them to ask them why I was being charged this fee. They told her it was for blood work that was performed on my cat, however this is untrue, because I had my veterinarian fax them my cat's blood work that he had done approximately 4 days before the day of my appointment at Catzablanca. Once they were confronted with this information from my sister, they quickly changed their story and said that the fee was for a physical examination.Now they claim that they were not able to administer anesthesia to the cat because he was not healthy enough for that. I have no problem with them not being able to put him under, but what I do have a problem with; is that they had ALL of his blood work and ALL of his information PRIOR to me even dropping him off there!They decided that they would not put him under or groom him at all, AFTER keeping him for 4 & 1/2 hours, and AFTER charging me this frivolous fee of $49.00. They have very shady business practices, and they always tell you it's one price, but when you go to pick up your animal, it's always another price! Each time I go there (I've been there approximately 5 times) this has happened!

Desired Settlement: I would like my $49.00 refunded, because there was simply no service provided. Thank you
