Cavalier Homes Reviews (11)

We bought a cavalier home in August 2018 and the finish work is terrible. Trim does not fit globs of silicone left on the trim where they half assed filled the nail holes and the miter corners. Severe squeak in kitchen floor utility and master bed room floors the recessed lighting in the kitchen do not line up the tile around the garden tub was not grouted. The kitchen ceiling has a large area where it looks like it was patched and the sheet rock mud is cracking in that area. The kitchen cabinet doors are pathetic on how they are put together. The vinyl siding was not installed right there are several rows where the seams line up and they should be staggered. Used hard board siding for the facia on the soffit. I could go on and on but it will do no good. If you watch their video on how they care about the products they ship out dont believe them. I am fortunate that I can do the repairs myself but that was not I wanted to do on a new home. Feel like we wasted 60 grand for a piece of junk.

I agree 100%. My home was put down July 2020 in SC. They started working on the interior and never came back. That's the Terry Pate's dealership problem of Lumberton, NC. Trying to get help from Cavalier Home of Nashville, NC. They said they would fix everything. The 1st work order went in Oct. 6, 2020, now it's Dec. 22, 2020. They said it takes 6-8 weeks to come out. Now I'm looking for an attorney. Their video says how they care, it's a terrible joke.

Several repairs in my home have not been completed as promised when I closed on my home 3 days before Christmas 2014.[redacted], the trim guy from the factory, worked on the final trim out prior to closing on my home in December 2014...closing occured December 22nd I believe. On the final trim out order, he informed me I needed a beam under my house to fix the rippled floor. This was noted on the order. Several other things were noted on the order like the defect in the glass of my front door (since that time [redacted] and [redacted] come out on two separate occations to take pictures to send to the factory for proof) and my sprayer at my sink being flawed. I decided to close on the home and trust these items would be fixed. I have had several emails back and forth with [redacted] (Cavalier Homes factory rep.) to have these items fixed. As well as several phone calls. Different people ([redacted], [redacted], [redacted], another gentleman who's name escapes me) have all been out to fix other odds and ends. [redacted] looked at the scuff marks on my kitchen and dining room floor and recommended a product from [redacted]. This is unacceptable...all of the many scuff marks were made during the trim out process when the home was being set on the lot. This was not done by moving in. I shouldn't have to fix their mistakes. I informed [redacted] of all of these items within 45 days of closing as well as reminding him of items on that final trim out work order from December 2014 that things are still left unfixed. Since that time, I have informed [redacted] and [redacted] of water standing in the tracks of my windows. This would have been around April 7th. I was told I just needed to wipe them out from time to time yet no other of houses that I'm familiar with has this problem. My floors have now started making squeeking noises when I walk over the problem area. I also believe the whole middle of the house is leaning inward, however, when I had [redacted] look at this, he dismissed it after laying a level in one area only. I need all of my floors thoroughly checked. It was confirmed by [redacted] verbally that two extra walls were built because the factory had poked holes in the flooring and didn't bother to fix - just built walls around it!! If the factory builds homes like this, no wonder my floors are rippled and sagging. The last visit to my home for repairs was around 4/15/15 (that same week)...my carpet in the hallway was measured out to be replaced, however, I have not heard ANYTHING from the factory since that time. They also were to order more siding for the house where the outide wall was curved. During that same visit, [redacted] informed me that the house needed to be jacked up, however this was NEVER mentioned before now. This is unacceptable that I have been lied to and empty promises. I should have a $150,000 house, however, it's more like a $5.00 house to me. Not one wall is even straight in this house, however, that is something I will live with. I'm scared to have them "fix" it and then the wall would be more curvy than before. Desired SettlementMy floors/joist/etc. need to be level and fixed, my carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced, my front door glass/door needs to be replaced, my sprayer on my sink needs to be replaced, my vinyl siding on the exterior needs to be replaced, all of my floors need to be checked to make sure level and not curving inward where the two halves of the home meet, my kitchen/dining room flooring needs to be replaced or scuff marks removed, and something needs to be done about the standing water in my windows.Business Response Contact Name and Title:[redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]spoke with customer 5/7/2015, scheduled appointment to complete repairs for 5/26/2015.Consumer Response On May 26th, some repairs were made. Specifically to my front door and carpet. My floors STILL are NOT fixed. Also, when the factory made repairs to my siding, they bent my brand new gutters that were paid for out of pocket. On the evening on May 26th, I left a voicemail for [redacted]. I informed him that my floors were NOT fixed and now my gutters are bent. I have YET to hear back from anyone regarding putting my gutters back into perfect condition as well as when my floors will actually be fixed. My next contact with Cavalier Homes will be through my lawyer. I expect contact by June 5th, or legal action will begin. Final Consumer Response Repairs were made to my floors on June 4th. I no longer have a hump in my dining area, but now I have a hump in front of my refrigerator that I believe goes under my bar area and can be felt on the other side of the bar. I was given 60 days from the repair date to have any cracks fixed caused by fixing the floors (house settling). I'm not sure if the house will settle enough for this hump at the refrigerator to disappear. Final Business Response I have left this customer a message attempting to schedule an appointment for Wednesday, June 6th to complete any remaining repairs to her floors.

Poor building quality and inconsistent factory serviceWe closed on our home in April 2014. Issues with the floor in the house were evident immediately. Floor was improperly installed leaving no expansion room. Floor began to push causing raised are running length of house. Walls are not level in various portions of the house which seems to be caused by floor pushing them. Cabinets are pulling away from wall, 1/2" to 3/4" in some places. Counters are uneven and installed poorly. Interior walls are not square and bowed in places. Electrical boxes not mounted to studs in wall. Sloppy paint and sheetrock work. Rooms painted wrong color, ceiling finish was wrong, and crown molding not attached correctly. Shower in master bath grouted in places where caulk should've been. Tub in second bathroom cracked. Tile in kitchen falling off wall. Drawers in kitchen fell apart after one week in house. Ceiling fan in office installed in the corner of the room rather than the center. Desired SettlementThe issues with this home are now to the point where we feel it is unsafe to inhabit. We want the company to take responsibility for their mistakes rather than try to fix for appearance sake alone. Walls being pushed away is a serious concern. IF a new house is required then that is what we would demand. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]We have met with the customer at their home and compiled a list of warranty work to be done. The factory is scheduled to go out today, Feb. 10, 2015.Consumer Response This does not address however the issue that your company built a substandard product. With our walls now 2" out of plumb and no definitive cause or repair. Our home is less than a year old and is an embarrassment. If we find that the structural integrity of our house is compromised then the value of our home is now greatly decreased. I appreciate the few that are actually trying to help but this house should have never left your factory. I think at the very least something should be offered to us for the frustration that this has caused. We have had to take multiple days off to meet with contractors (who lie about the work they did and argue with the customer)and meet building inspectors because we are concerned about the safety our our home. Not to mention the mental stress of living in a house that we now can't bear to live in because it is such a joke. I would have expected the general manager to call and at least apologize rather than be preoccupied with why we filed this complaint in the first place. Your company apparently does not understand the level of dissatisfaction we have. I regret the day I ever purchased this home.

The lag bolts under my house have spilt the wood. They have been tightened twice. But they continue to lag due to improper installation when built.Flat paint was used on my ceilings.Mositure is clinging to my ceiling and wall causing mildewmIf I try to remove it.It damages the Finish. There is a problem concerning the house being put together.Product_Or_Service: Modular homeDesired SettlementI would like an independent contractor paid by cavalier to replace the wood and lag bolts that need repair under my house.I would like the ceilings repainted with gloss. The mildew removed and the water markings removed.T he cause of stains identified and repaired where the house is put together or due to design.

Cavalier Homes has failed to honor the warranty agreement that was presented and the time of purchase. There are many unfinished areas in our home.I purchased my home from [redacted] (which I have also filed a complaint against) on December 19, 2013. At the time of purchase I was assured and signed the warranty on my home. I contacted both Cavalier and [redacted] in August of 2014 with a plumbing problem due to a broken pipe under my master bathroom bathtub. The bathroom is still not fixed as of today February 28, [redacted]. I also was told by Cavalier and [redacted] that the trim, stress cracks, and caulking would be redone. As of today they have yet to fix the problems. I sent both parties certified letters of an estimate made by my contracter that would resolve my issue. I have not heard from them. Desired SettlementMy contracter estimate is $3000.00Business Response Cavalier Homes has been in contact with [redacted] Cavalier Homes is mailing a letter requesting a signature from Mr. [redacted] Once the letter is returned, Cavalier Homes will issue a check to Mr. [redacted]in the amount of $1500. [redacted]will be in contact with Mr. [redacted]to discuss imbursement for the for the remaining issues. We apologize for delay in response.

bought a new home and repairs promised have not yet been fixed after contacting over and over for almost a year. I purchased a brand new 2014 mobile home and have had so much trouble with repair issues. when purchasing a home I was told there could be some damage due to the moving of the home. This would be things such as cracks in the molding or wall, but I was told that all damage would be fixed. I started a list of things I noticed that needed fixing and I would give Central Carolina homes the list so they could send it to the factory. A year later I still have things that have not beenfixed that were supposed to be fixed months ago. I have been in frequent contact with central Carolina homes as well as the customer service representative at cavalier homes (the factory). I feel like I keep getting the run around and apology after apology, but everyone is all talk and no action is being taken. I had a mainpipe that was not installed correctly bust under my house that no one did anything about and I was lucky to have had a family member around that knew what need to be done. I have had a leaky faucet under my kitchen sink for months now. In my main walkway I now have a tile bar I have to worry about my 14 month old tripping over everyday since they had to cut my linoleum to find out what the mysterious dip in my floor was. It turned out to be a huge hole in my floor thatwas patched with cement filler and just covered up with the linoleum. I requested linoleum throughout the house so that I wouldn't have any of those bars restricting my little girls movements. They have now pulled up the linoleum so much that it does not set right throughout the house and has ripples in the linoleummaking it very tough to move appliances or furniture around without leaving damaging marks. They have also cut into my insulation to add another air vent in the master bedroom. The master bedroom was 7-10 degrees hotter then the rest of the house so we kept air at 67 degrees to stay comfortable in the bedroom sleeping but would go out to the living room and freeze to death. After cutting into the insulation they also did not repair it properly and left underneath my home opened for months allowing mice and any other creatures to venture into the house. Both my front and back doors do not shut or open properly and have been rigged up to work for now. I have been promised 2 new doors but it has been all talk and no action has been taken. I have a huge master bathtub that doesn't have hot water, but luke warm at best. I have vinyl siding that wasn't put on correctly and you can see the wood which is getting damaged every time it rains. There have just been so many problems with this brand new mobile home that I feel I am paying way too much money for something I didn't order.Desired Settlementi would like all repairs fixed properly, and since I now have that tile bar in my main walkway I would like carpet in my living room area. I ordered linoleum throughout my house because I didn't want the tile bars.Business Response Each home purchased through Clayton/Cavalier Nashville comes with a Homeowners Warranty Manual that states transportation items, such as normal stress cracks in drywall, grout, caulking, tightening of connectors and p traps, adjustment of doors, etc. are not covered under the Factory Warranty. Any of these items addressed by the Factory were performed as a courtesy. In the matter of the additional vent added in the Master bedroom area, again this was installed as a courtesy at the homeowner's request. The tile bar added to the vinyl flooring was approved by the homeowner as an acceptable repair. The tub in the homeowners' master bath is equipped with a tempering valve which must be adjusted by homeowner to reach the desired water temperature. This was explained to the homeowner. In summation, contact has been maintained with the homeowner and Factory responsible items are currently being addressed with a subsequent Contractor.Consumer Response The tile bar in the middle of the floor was the only option to fix the huge hole in the floor. It was not an acceptable fix we argued and argued about the tile bar but it was either that or fall thru the floor. Since the linoleum floor has been pulled up so many times it just doesn't lay right anymore with ripples throughout the kitchen causing anything heavy to leave indentations. I have been in frequent contact because it's been a battle trying to get things fixed.More Info Received From ConsumerI am no where near satisfied! Yes finally the new contractors actually showed up on the 29th of February. They replaced both doors which now I have a funky chemical smell coming from the front door, and the back door keeps blowing open even if it's locked. The floor issue was not even fixed because the contractors said it needed to be replaced and they couldn't do anything with it that day. Now I have been calling everyday leaving a message with Cavelier and no one is returning my calls. I just want the home that I purchased to be the way I expect a new home should look. A new home shouldn't have rippled up floor everywhere, a tile bar that wasn't there when I purchased the home, a hole in the floor that I can still feel is there but rigged and patched hidden under the linoleum. The house should be fixed I shouldn't have to do this work or hire someone to to,the work when it hasn't been right since I got the home. I want the tile bar gone, and the hole in floor fixed properly.

Vinyl flooring has water damage,dips/squeaks/lumps/tongue gives at seems/warped/bowed/wall molding cracksOn Sept 21, 2015 I purchased my new Cavalier Manufactured home. Since day one I have had nothing but problems. Had horrible sour smell in kitchen area and dishwasher was leaking and was not hooked up correctly. Had to put up with this two months until they finally would pull out the dishwasher and seen there was mold everywhere from the leakage in my new home. They repaired it but now seeing more mold coming back from this issue. We were without our kitchen for days and had to stay in our home and breathe in this mold. My son has IGG Immunoglobulin deficiency. He has been very sick since this mold and tested very high blood work levels from his doctor showing he is highly allergic to something and it has to be the mold he was exposed to. He had to be put on medicine for this. I was told from management at Cavalier that they do not care about my sons reaction to the mold. Cracks throughout my home from day one and still now. They would send someone to fix them and all they did was paint over them and the cracks are still visible and are getting worse. Since the day I bought my home they have sent someone out it seems like every other month to fix my repairs and they never fix anything and make it worse and drip paint onto my walls and do sloppy work. Very poor workmanship in my home. It never should have left the factory like this. The price I am paying for this home is no comparison to the structure and material they used. It looks like a used home and I really believe it is. Their men would tell me they don't have the materials to fix everything when they would come out. Why would they send someone to fix my home without the materials? I have caught this company in multiple lies and being very dishonest and not trustworthy and I have been yelled at by this company and telling me they are not going to fix my repairs. Really unprofessional they don't care about their products or their customers at all.A major problem I have had since day one are my vinyl floors throughout my entire home in every room. When we walk on the floors every other step we take we walk down in a dip, bowed in areas and its like a beach wave when you walk on the floors. We walk and go down and then back up level. They are dips/bowed in areas/warped/soft spots circled areas and Cavalier has told me they are not going to fix my floors. Every time they have come out to look at my floors they say they can't see or feel anything. Although they sent an inspector because I have contacted the OSFM. Cavalier's inspector told them he can feel these areas in my floors and he found several things wrong. This was the best inspector and he was honest and truthful and I could tell he had being doing this for a very long time and he knew what he was talking about. But Cavalier will not take his word. They are not telling the truth I have seen on blogs where I am not the only one that has had this problem with my floors. This seems to be a common problem with these homes and if not fixed these areas can be early signs of major trouble such as, moisture condenses behind an impermeable surface such as vinyl floors. They know this and that is why they don't want to admit that there is anything wrong with my floors. This company is very shady and they knew all of this is wrong with their homes before they leave the factory and they will not admit the defaults of the home. It is poor workmanship and they know this and they don't care. Here is some information I found out that will happen to my home and floors if not fixed. particle board wasn't used, flooring can become warped or softened due to a small leak or routine encounters with water. Most newer homes now use higher grade plywood or OSB because it can withstand water better. Still, if you have a soft spot or bowing in any area of your home its best to repair it quickly before it causes further damage. You don't want the joists or walls to become damaged. This is what will happen to my floors if not repaired and fixedDesired SettlementIt takes about 10 mins to sand the floor material and according to the inspector that Cavalier sent to my home. My floors have not been sanded down in areas. The inspector that Cavalier sent out to my home said I have possible water damage. This will be life threating to us and can cause more mold in our home.Want all wall and molding cracks fixed correctly. Need a professional who specializes in detecting mold in homes to come out and check my home to make sure mold is not returning or still have mold.Want my flooring taken up and replaced and installed properly and that includes the wood underneath. The way it should have been done with a new home.Would prefer a settlement check so I can hire my own contractor to repair my floors and install them the correct way because everyone Cavalier sends out does not do the job and they make it worse. This is what the inspector said needs to be done that Cavalier sent to my home. They are going against what their inspector has found wrong with my floors and my home. Want a compensation check in the amount to cover all of these damages so I can get my own contractor to make my house safe and to install flooring that will be safe and done correctly and all other repairs that are on my repair list that I gave to Cavalier and [redacted] homes when I closed on my house that have not been done. It has been since Sept 2015 when I purchased my home and my repairs have not been fixed yet.Business Response The Homeowner has contacted the OSFM which has visited her home. We are awaiting their report.Any Factory issues stated on the report will be promptly taken care of.Consumer Response The OSFM did visit my home and that was per Cavalier telling me I had to contact them and that would be the only way they would fix any of the issues wrong with my new home. They did this because number one them are friends with them and they also knew that the OSFM will not address issues like my floors, cracks in walls in master bath beside of tub where they never finished the work on the wall beside of the tub. My kitchen sprayer will not work and water flow is horrible since they replaced my facet with another one and they are aware of this. Dips, bowed in areas in my vinyl floors throughout my home. In which the OSFM that came out did see the dips and could feel them when walking on my floors. But from the report I have received from the OSFA that I am suppose to tolerate this from a brand new home I have purchased. Knew this would happen and Cavalier stood in my home and told me they would fix the cracks and mold that is coming back in my home from the brand new dishwasher leak that was never hooked up correctly that caused tons of mold in my brand new home that I had only lived in one month when this happen. I have a HUGE crack that is above my nice breakfast window that is getting worse. Cavalier seen this and other cracks and told me they will fix these. But guess since the OSFM does not address these issues they are not going to fix them now. That's what Cavalier knew and I told them this. This is such a shady company and they don't care how they treat their customers and sell garbage for Manufactured homes. A 5 yr old could have done a better job building this home. So now I have 30 years to pay for a lemon home that has multiple problems wrong with it and will end up costing me tons of money and this is so wrong. These people are crooks and they sell homes that should not be able to leave their premises. I intend on taking this to the media so others will not have to go through what I have been through. Media will show the huge cracks poor workmanship and unfinished work that Cavalier has not completed. People what ever you do. Do Not buy a home from this company. You will regret it. I don't know how they can lie to their customers and sell such cheap barley put together homes like they do. I want items listed on the OSFM form fixed correctly and also the cracks on my walls throughout my home fixed and done right. It seems like this company would make my home good like it should have been. I purchased a brand new home and I really believe that this home was either a model on a lot or used and they patched it up to make it look like a new home and I am paying full price for a new home that I don't have. My floors should be replaced and done correctly. They know their is something wrong with my floors and know it is going to cost a large sum of money to make them like they should be and should have been when I purchased my new home. That is why they wanted me to call OSFM so they will not have to fix them. These people are not trustworthy and if this was their new home I am sure they would want it fixed. But it is not so they don't care. They don't care about their customers just sell them a piece of junk, garbage that should have never left the lot.

November 2015 - work order was put in to repair home. They said they were waiting on parts. Now, they will not answer phone or return calls. Purchased a home in feb. 2015 (serial # XXXXX),I called in November 2015, to put in a work order which included fixing crack in tub, put in missing countertop piece, airflow problem throughout the home, and nail sticking out of countertop in laundry room. By December 2015, tub/countertop in front bathroom was fixed. We have been getting phones calls since December saying that the contractors were waiting on parts to fix the other problems in the home. Called service department on Feb 23/25 2016, I left a message for [redacted] and never received a phone call back. Called again on March 1, 2016, talked to [redacted] and she said my parts were in and she was texting [redacted] (contractor) to let him know that we needed to set an appointment so we can get work order completed. Never heard from [redacted], so I called him on March 5, 2016. He said he didn't get a text from [redacted] about our work order. He called a few hours later and said that parts for airflow was in, but didn't have parts for countertop. He said that the part was on special delivery and he would come out and fix problems when he got the parts. I called [redacted] on the same day and left message(Didn't get a call back). On March 8/9 2016, called business manager [redacted] and left message. Haven't received a call back and now it's March 11. I've done some research and found my parts to my countertop at a [redacted] store. Not understanding why countertop part has to be on special order when they can go to a local home depot store and purchase parts. This company gives a 1 yr warranty on repairs for our home. Our warranty ends at the end March 2016. I was told by several people with this company that our warranty will be extended if there is an open work order. It has been 4 months since I put work order in. Now they will not answer phone calls or return calls.Desired SettlementI would like for this company to get my parts for work order (ASAP) and complete the job that they started. This is the last work order that needs to be done on the home. I would like an explanation from company about why they feel the need to lie to me about parts being on special delivery when I can personally walk into a local home depot store and purchase parts for countertop myself. I didn't purchase parts because there is a 1 yr warranty on this home. I feel this company needs to stand by the warranty that they give to a customer when they purchase a home. This type of behavior can ruin this business. Business Response I have spoken with Ms. [redacted] on multiple occasions regarding service items in her home and Contractors have repaired said items. For the matter of the restricted airflow from the duct work , this item was brought to our attention and promptly repaired by a Contractor and the completed work order signed by Mr. [redacted]. Although home improvement stores may possibly carry the material for Ms. [redacted]'s countertop, we do not make it a habit to purchase materials from outside sources as we have our own suppliers. The counter top material was not available at the time of the service request. The small damage to Ms. [redacted]'s countertop material could have been repaired instead of replaced but we extended the courtesy of re laminating the entire top. As stated in the Homeowners Warranty Manual, any damages, scratches, nicks, gouges, etc. must be reported within the 30 day period after the customer's first day of occupancy of which countertops are included. Nevertheless, we agreed to service Ms. [redacted]'s counter top. We have also performed many courtesy non warranty items while our Contractors were at the home such as normal drywall stress cracks and nail pops, adjusting of doors and drawers, touching up of caulking and paint, etc. In conclusion, Ms [redacted] has been scheduled for service for the remaining item in the home.Consumer Response I have read the response that was given back from company and whoever is saying they have talk to me on several occasions has given false information. I have been trying to contact someone at this company for weeks before I filed my complaint. I have documented every time I called this company and left messages and never received a phone call back. I tried calling for several weeks. Finally, received a phone call from [redacted] after I filed the complaint. On Monday (March 14, 2016 at 11:16 am.), [redacted] and I discussed some things and he said airflow problem and countertop will be repaired by a contractor as soon as possible. After I got off phone with [redacted], contractor [redacted] called my husband at 11:41 am and we made an appt. for April 26, 2016 to get both items repaired (airflow problem and laundry room countertop that has a nail sticking out of it's edge). When I called in November, to put new work order in, I told [redacted] that one of the contractors did work on the airflow problem and that we thought it was fixed. As time went on, we noticed the master bedroom/bathroom vents weren't putting enough air out. The contractor said that there was a cross brace that was bent into the duct and that he removed cross brace and he straighten the duct. This repaired was done around April 2015. As for the warranty on this home, we were told by mobile home dealers [redacted] that there was a 1yr warranty on this home. The dealer was explaining warranty after we signed documents to purchase home. During this year, if anything went wrong with appliances, hvac system, or we found anything that need to be worked on all we have to do is called serviced department and put in a work order. The seller told us that since this home is being built in a factory that there will be repairs that will need to be done. All the repairs on this home has been manufacture defects. I do have my own personal lists of repairs that have been done on this home. We have done some repairs because we have had 2 leaks (master bath sink and kitchen sink which could have ruin our cabinets)in our home. Master bath sink had no silicone around faucet and kitchen sink the pipes were loose. This happened in April 2015. Now, the company is saying something different about their warranty on this home. It seems that there is a communication issue between CC Homes and Cavalier Homes about what kind of warranty is actually on this home. The customer is only the middle man and we are only going by what we were told. One of the contractors told us the same thing. He said throughout the year we will see things that need to fixed and all we needed to do is make a list, called service department, and put in a work order. The factory should call us back within 2 weeks and schedule an appointment. This company has been good about their process until November 2015. My husband and I would like our home to be repaired in a timely manner. That is all we want. Sincerely, [redacted]

We purchased a brand new modular home from [redacted] in Elizabeth City NC and signed papers with them on December 19, 2014 . We submitted them a form with some cosmetic issues that needed to be repaired in our home. One of the things that needed repaired was trim work. They fixed the gaps in our trim with caulking. Which eventually repaired this way the caulk will get hot and expand and when it gets cold will shrink causing the caulk to crack up and not fix the problem correctly. Then in our master bathroom we found we had a leak January 11 2015. We contacted [redacted] on January 12, 2015 like they told us we should if we had any issues with leaks that needed to be fixed right away. [redacted] told us she contacted Cavalier Home Builders and told them the issue we were having. They sent one of their guys out that Thursday and when we were telling him about the leak he said it was not on his paper work to fix and had not been told he was coming out to fix this issue by this time the bathroom has been leaking for 5 days. Well the gentleman who came out said he would be back on Monday January 19 to fix the leak. So my husband was waiting around for them to fix this issue for me to get a phone call that they were not coming out because they did not have the part. I called the company back and let them know I had contacted an attorney for not fixing this issue. After that they magically had the part from the plant and was headed out to fix the leak. Well according to the gentleman who came out to our house to fix it his boss did not want him coming out here because he was to far away. Instead of sending someone else out here he just told him he did not want him coming this way because he was not close. By now this leak has been going on for over 9 days. [redacted] told his boss that he needed to come out here because we have had a leak for awhile now and that it was damaging our bathroom. Then there dragging there feet getting someone out here to look at the floor to see if it needs replaced, which it does because it is all bubbled, faded and swelled up you can tell. They are out here again today (January 20,2015) to fix just the cosmetic stuff that we had listed to be fixed. We asked [redacted] if he had heard or his boss had said anything to him about the damage in our bathroom and he said he did not hear anything from his boss about. All [redacted] said was his boss may send somebody out next week to look at the floor.Product_Or_Service: ModularDesired SettlementWe want the trim fixed the right way with wood filling, sanded down and painted over the correct way. I want my whole floor in my bathroom replaced because of the water damage, the walls that are damaged replaced and the trim that was water damaged replaced the right away and not pieced together, as well as the whole bathroom sink because it was water damaged as well. I want this resolved so I do not have to deal with these people ever again. This has been a nightmare.Business Response We went out and inspected the home and discovered the following items need to be resolved:(1) The baseboard needs to be replaced.(water damage from leak)(2)There is a water stain on the wall(leak from underneath tub)(3) Inside the lavatory cabinet has water stain from p-trap leaking (need to overlay bottom panel) When we replace the panel we will check and make sure there is no damaged behind the cabinet or to floor. Customer is going to put a fan in the bathroom so the wall can dry. These repairs will be completed by Thursday, January 29, 2015
